Fits Prestigio PSP3450 DUO with OEM part number PSP3450 DUO battery replacement.
3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion cell restores full charge cycles to this dual-SIM smartphone.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with no locking tab interference required.
We charged this cell five times on a standard 5V charger — BMS accepted input cleanly, no early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Prestigio PSP3450 DUO — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Prestigio PSP3450 DUO dual-SIM smartphone. It fits the PSP3450 DUO directly and restores power when the original cell has degraded or failed. Capacity is 1500mAh (5.55Wh), matching the factory specification.

  • PSP3450 DUO platform fit: The PSP3450 DUO runs both SIM slots off a single 3.7V cell. Both modem radios draw from the same rail simultaneously, so the battery must hold voltage under split-modem load. This cell meets that rail voltage and connector spec without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the PSP3450 DUO platform. The BMS accepted the charge curve without fault flags, and both SIM slots remained active through the full discharge sequence.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on the PSP3450 DUO calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — pushing high current into an uncalibrated cell skews the percentage readings from the first charge onward.

Why the PSP3450 DUO reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve profile tied to the original cell's internal resistance and capacity. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references the old curve. This causes the percentage display to jump or read incorrectly until the IC recalibrates. One full discharge to automatic shutdown followed by a full uninterrupted charge corrects the coulomb counter. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise against the new cell's actual discharge curve.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the PSP3450 DUO

This is a voltage cliff event, not a capacity failure. Under combined dual-SIM modem and display load, the cell voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC predicts — the BMS trips protection before the displayed percentage reaches zero. It happens most often when both SIM slots are active and the screen is on full brightness. Run one full calibration cycle first. If shutdowns continue, check that resting cell voltage is above 3.6V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My PSP3450 DUO keeps shutting off at around 25% battery — why does this happen with a new cell?

This is a voltage cliff: under dual-SIM modem load plus screen draw, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC expects, triggering the BMS protection cutoff before the display hits zero. The IC is still reading against the old cell's discharge curve. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this recalibrates the coulomb counter. If the shutdown persists after that cycle, check resting voltage after a full charge; it should read at or above 3.6V.

The phone shows 100% immediately after I plug in the new battery — the percentage never moved during charging. What's wrong?

The fuel gauge IC on the PSP3450 DUO had its reference curve set to a depleted original cell. With a fresh cell installed, the IC sees a starting voltage it interprets as already full. This is a calibration offset, not a hardware fault. Drain the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption — the IC rewrites its reference points against the new cell's actual voltage profile after that single cycle.

The phone feels warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is that normal?

Some warmth during the first few charges is expected. A new cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates a little more energy as heat while current flows into it. The temperature should stay moderate — warm to the touch, not hot. If the back of the phone becomes uncomfortable to hold or charging stops and restarts repeatedly, remove the phone from the charger, let it cool to room temperature, then resume charging at a lower current by using a standard 5V/1A adapter rather than a fast charger.
