Proscenic P8 / P8 Plus — 25.9V Li-ion Replacement Battery (7ICR19/65)

This 25.9V 2200mAh Li-ion battery fits the Proscenic P8 and P8 Plus cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part 7ICR19/65 and restores full motor voltage to the cleaning head. Capacity is 56.98Wh — matching the original cell specification.

• P8 and P8 Plus compatibility: Both models run the same 25.9V 7-cell Li-ion pack on the same connector and BMS handshake. One battery covers both variants without modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the P8 platform. The BMS engaged correctly at low-voltage cutoff and the charger handshake completed without error flags.
• Dock charging on the P8: Do not leave the P8 sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge causes capacity fade significantly faster than charging only when the pack is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The P8 motor draws surge current when transitioning from hard floor to carpet. If the filter is partially blocked, airflow restriction forces the motor to pull above its rated draw. The BMS reads this as a voltage sag event and reduces output to protect the cells — suction drops even though the battery still shows charge. Clean or replace the filter first. If suction restores, the battery was not the fault.

Motor cuts out then recovers a few seconds later

This is an overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. The BMS interrupts output when sustained restricted suction — usually a blocked nozzle or clogged filter — pushes motor current past the protection threshold. The pack resets after a few seconds once internal temperature drops. Clear the blockage and confirm the filter is clean before replacing the battery. If the cut-out stops after clearing the filter, the pack is functioning correctly.
