Fits Roborock 1C, Q7 Max, Q7 Max+, S5, and 24 additional models with OEM part compatibility.
14.4V and 6800mAh capacity deliver 97.92Wh to sustain motor torque and suction lift across carpet and hard floors.
Connector seats vertically into the battery slot with a single locking tab — verify the tab engages fully before dock closure.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted full charge cycles without early cutoff; voltage held steady under sustained motor draw.
Do not leave this pack on the charging dock continuously — Roborock's trickle charge degrades Li-ion capacity within weeks; charge to full and remove.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Roborock 1C / Q7 Max Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V Li-ion replacement battery rated at 6800mAh (97.92Wh) for the Roborock robotic vacuum range. It fits the 1C, Q7 Max, Q7 Max+, S5, and more than 24 additional Roborock models. When the original cell degrades, suction drops and cleaning cycles shorten — this battery restores the power supply to the motor and navigation board.

  • Multi-model fit across Roborock platforms: The 1C, Q7 Max, Q7 Max+, and S5 series share the same 14.4V battery architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between these platforms does not require firmware changes or adapter hardware.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge-recharge sequences on a Roborock unit and monitored BMS communication. The protection board responded correctly to over-discharge cutoff and charge termination signals without throwing fault codes.
  • Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Do not leave the robot on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charging is one of the fastest ways to degrade a Li-ion cell in this format. Charge to full, then remove the dock connection — or let the robot discharge before returning it to charge.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted, the motor draws more current than rated. The BMS sees the voltage dip under that load and reduces output to protect the cell — the robot reads this as low power before the actual charge level is low. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap before replacing the battery. If suction recovers after cleaning, the battery is not the fault.

Motor cuts out mid-cycle then restarts on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Sustained restricted suction — from a clogged filter or jammed brush — forces the motor to pull current beyond the BMS threshold. The protection board cuts the circuit, then resets once current demand drops. The robot resumes as if nothing happened. Wash the filter, clear the brush chamber, and run a full cycle. If the cutout stops happening, the cell itself was never the problem.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Roborock finishes cleaning runs much sooner than it used to — could the filter be causing this?

Yes — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes the BMS to sag voltage output earlier in the cycle. The robot interprets this as a depleted battery and returns to dock before the cell is actually flat. Remove and wash the HEPA filter, then run a full cleaning cycle. If the run length improves, the issue was airflow restriction, not battery capacity.

The Roborock was sitting unused for a few months and now won't power on at all — is the battery recoverable?

Li-ion cells left in deep discharge for extended periods can drop below the BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell. At that point the protection board blocks charge input as a safety measure and the robot shows no sign of life. Place the robot on the dock for at least 30 minutes; some BMS units will attempt a trickle recovery charge from near-zero. If the dock light never changes state, the cell has self-discharged past recovery and replacement is the correct next step.

I replaced the battery but the Roborock still cuts out under carpet — what's happening?

High-pile carpet increases motor resistance, which spikes current draw on start and during sustained contact. If the new cell's BMS trips on that surge, the robot cuts out the same way the old one did. Check that the brush roll is clear of hair and debris — a tangled brush multiplies the load the motor sees. If cutouts only happen on thick carpet and not hard floors, reduce suction mode to standard rather than max to keep current draw within the BMS's sustained-operation window.
