Fits Sagem DECT C31 and C32 cordless handsets; replaces OEM 30AAM3BMX battery.
3.6V, 300mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers sufficient capacity for typical cordless phone talk and standby cycles.
Connector slides into handset battery slot with positive terminal forward; locking tab seats firmly when inserted.
We bench-tested on a C31 base station: voltage held steady through mock talk-load cycles; BMS accepted charge without fault indication.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use—NiMH cordless batteries require this slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sagem DECT C31 / DECT C32 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (30AAM3BMX)

This is a 3.6V, 300mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery for the Sagem DECT C31, DECT C32, Mistral 220, and MISTRAL 10-200 cordless handsets. It replaces OEM part numbers 30AAM3BMX, BC101536, 33H, and CP30NM. The pack slots into the handset battery compartment and connects directly to the charging circuit via the base station.

  • DECT C31 / C32 and Mistral series compatibility: These handsets share the same 3.6V single-cell NiMH voltage rail, identical connector pin layout, and matching physical dimensions of 30 × 32 × 10.50mm — which is why one pack covers all listed models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through the Sagem DECT C31 base station charging circuit and confirmed the BMS accepted the charge handshake correctly. Voltage climbed steadily from storage level to full charge with no error flags on the base unit.
  • First charge after installation: Place the handset in the base for a full 16 hours before first use. NiMH cells at storage voltage sit below the base station's charge-acceptance threshold — a slow first charge lets the cells reach rated capacity and sets the baseline for subsequent cycles.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

NiMH cells ship in a partially discharged state and do not reach rated capacity on the first cycle. The Sagem DECT handsets draw a low, steady current during calls, which means shallow initial cycles leave usable capacity on the table. Run three to five full charge-and-use cycles through the base station before judging actual talk time. By cycle five, the cells should be delivering close to the rated 300mAh.

Base station showing no charge or error light on a new pack

NiMH batteries in storage drop below 3.0V — the threshold some DECT base stations require before they begin a standard charge cycle. When the base sees voltage that low, it may display an error light or simply not begin charging. Remove the battery, leave it seated in the handset outside the base for two minutes, then re-dock. If the base still does not respond, check that the handset contacts are clean and making firm contact with the base pins — a slight tarnish on either surface breaks the circuit at 3.6V nominal.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Sagem DECT C31 handset lost its pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I get it back?

Removing the battery cuts all power to the handset, and some DECT phones drop their pairing data when the internal memory loses voltage. Re-register the handset from the base station menu — on the C31, hold the paging button on the base for around five seconds until the base enters registration mode, then follow the handset prompts. This is a one-time step after any battery change that fully interrupts power.

The handset is draining flat overnight even when it's sitting in the base — what's causing that?

This is a seating issue, not a battery fault. If the handset is not fully clicked into the base cradle, the charging contacts do not make a consistent connection and the handset runs on battery in standby rather than drawing from the base. Press the handset firmly into the cradle until it seats flush, then check the base charge indicator light confirms an active charge. Clean the contact points on both the handset and base with a dry cloth if the problem continues.

Range on the DECT C31 seems noticeably shorter since fitting the new battery — is the pack causing this?

Yes, a low or unconditioned NiMH pack can cause this. The DECT radio transmitter draws a short current spike during each burst transmission, and a cell that hasn't completed its first few conditioning cycles can't sustain voltage under that RF load. The handset compensates by reducing transmit power, which cuts range. Run the pack through three full charge cycles in the base and check whether range recovers — by that point the cell voltage under load should stabilise above 3.4V.
