Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung NoteBook 9 Pro NP930MBE / NP730XBE Series — 11.5V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AA-PBSN3KT / BA43-00392A)
This is an 11.5V, 4800mAh (55.2Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Samsung NoteBook 9 Pro and 730XBE series. It fits the NP930MBE-K02HK, NP730XBE-K01CN, NP930MBE-K02CN, NP730XBE-U01HK, and over 35 additional NP-series variants sharing the same OEM part numbers AA-PBSN3KT and BA43-00392A. The slim 4.20mm cell profile matches the original battery bay dimensions exactly.
- NP930MBE / NP730XBE platform fit: These models share the same 11.5V power rail, three-cell Li-Polymer layout, and SMBus BMS handshake. Any unit carrying AA-PBSN3KT or BA43-00392A in its service manual will accept this cell without connector or firmware conflict.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell against the NP930MBE charge controller. The BMS accepted the full charge cycle without fault codes, balanced all three cells within spec, and held stable voltage under combined CPU and display load without triggering thermal cutoff.
- Post-swap calibration for the NP930MBE: After installing, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears in Samsung Settings after every cell swap.
BIOS reporting battery health as poor immediately after replacement
The NP930MBE stores historical charge data in EEPROM on the original battery's BMS. When a new cell goes in, the BIOS compares the new cell's EEPROM baseline against the usage history it expects, sees a mismatch, and flags the battery as unknown or degraded. This is a data mismatch, not a faulty cell. Running a complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the BIOS to write a new baseline. After two to three full cycles, the health indicator will update to reflect the actual cell condition.
Laptop shuts down abruptly at 20–30% charge shown
This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's discharge curve. The IC still uses the old cell's voltage-to-capacity mapping, so it misreads the remaining charge and the system shuts down before the gauge hits zero. The cell itself is not defective — it simply hasn't taught the IC where its actual voltage cliff sits. Run two full discharge cycles down to hibernate cutoff and recharge fully each time. After that, the fuel gauge will track the new cell accurately and the premature cutoff will stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Samsung Settings still shows "Battery health: Poor" three days after fitting the new cell — is something wrong with it?
Nothing is wrong with the cell. The NP930MBE's BIOS reads EEPROM data written by the original battery and flags a mismatch when it sees a fresh cell with no history. Run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this writes a new BIOS baseline. The health warning clears within two to three cycles.
Windows is showing the Wh rating as lower than 55.2Wh in the battery report — why doesn't the number match?
The Wh figure Windows pulls comes from the EEPROM "design capacity" field on the battery's BMS chip, not from a live measurement. A new cell's EEPROM value and the rated chemistry capacity can differ slightly until the BIOS learn cycle completes. Run the full calibration cycle — discharge to hibernate, charge to 100% — and the reported Wh will align closer to the 55.2Wh rated capacity.
The charge stopped at 80% and won't go higher — is the charger at fault?
The charger is not at fault. Samsung's BIOS includes a charge-limit feature that caps charging at 80% to slow cell wear — it ships enabled on many NP-series units. Check Samsung Settings under "Battery life extender" or the equivalent option in your BIOS firmware. Toggle it off, unplug and replug the adapter, and the cell will charge to 100%.
