Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.0 SM-T325 and SM-T327A — direct replacement for OEM part T4800E.
3.8V Li-Polymer cell rated 4800mAh delivers consistent power to the display and processor throughout your charge cycle.
Connector slides onto the stock pad with a single locking tab — no soldering or adapter needed for installation.
We bench-tested this cell on SM-T325 hardware; the BMS accepted a full charge cycle and held voltage under WiFi plus display load.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display after the swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (T4800E)

This is a 3.8V, 4800mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 line, including SM-T320, SM-T325, SM-T327A, and related variants. It replaces OEM part T4800E directly. Capacity is rated at 18.24Wh, matching the original cell specification.

  • SM-T320, SM-T325, SM-T327A compatibility: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The T4800E cell works across all three without adapter or wiring modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on an SM-T325. The BMS reported correct voltage at each state-of-charge threshold, and the charge IC accepted the cell without fault flags on either the hardware or software side.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging early. This single full cycle resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a battery swap.

Why the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 shuts down at 15–25% remaining

The SM-T325 runs a high-resolution display alongside simultaneous WiFi and processor activity. Under that combined load, voltage sags faster than the fuel gauge IC can track in real time. The tablet's protection circuit reads voltage, not just percentage, and it triggers a shutdown when the cell hits its low-voltage cutoff — even if the screen still shows 18% or 22%. After the recalibration cycle described above, the fuel gauge maps the new cell's actual voltage curve, and the premature shutdowns typically stop.

Fast charging not available after battery replacement

Some SM-T325 units stop offering fast charge immediately after a battery swap and revert to standard charge rates. The charge IC on the tablet negotiates charge current during the first full accepted cycle on a new cell — until that cycle completes, it defaults to a conservative current profile. Run one complete charge from near-zero to 100% without interruption. After that first uninterrupted cycle, fast charge negotiation resumes and the device returns to normal charge behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 is showing a completely wrong battery percentage after I put the new battery in — it jumped from 43% to 8% in ten minutes. Is the battery faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine — the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old battery's capacity curve. It has no data on the new cell yet, so percentage readings are unreliable until recalibration. Run the tablet all the way down to automatic shutoff, then charge it uninterrupted to 100% in one go. After that single full cycle the fuel gauge remaps itself against the new cell and percentage tracking stabilises.

The tablet feels noticeably warm near the charging port while the new battery is charging. Should I stop charging it?

Warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new Li-Polymer cell is expected. The charge IC is actively profiling the new cell's internal resistance and adjusting current delivery, which generates mild heat. As long as the tablet is not hot to the touch and charging stops automatically at 100%, there is no fault condition. If it becomes uncomfortably hot or charges past 100% without stopping, disconnect and check that the charge cable is not damaged.

After the replacement, the percentage drops fast from 100% down to about 70%, then slows right down. Something seems off.

This is fuel gauge drift — the IC lost its calibration reference when the old cell was removed, so the top portion of the percentage scale is compressed against inaccurate voltage-to-capacity data. The cell is delivering normal capacity; the readout just does not reflect it yet. Complete one full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. Check the percentage behaviour across a second full cycle — it should track evenly from 100% to shutoff once the IC has two calibrated data points.
