Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Schenker XMG Fusion 15 XFU15L19 — 11.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (3ICP7/63/69-2)
This is an 11.4V, 8000mAh (91.2Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Schenker XMG Fusion 15 XFU15L19 and XMG Fusion 15 gaming laptops. It replaces OEM part numbers 3ICP7/63/69-2 and GKIDT-00-13-3S2P-0. It fits the 15.6-inch chassis and restores portable battery operation when the original cells have degraded past usable capacity.
- XMG Fusion 15 compatibility: Both the XFU15L19 and broader XMG Fusion 15 variants share the same 3S2P cell configuration, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — so one cell fits the full line without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the XMG Fusion 15 platform. The BMS completed full charge handshake, cell balancing initialised correctly, and the protection circuit tripped as expected at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Post-install calibration on the XMG Fusion 15: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge until the laptop hibernates on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the machine. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears on the first boot after every cell swap.
BIOS reporting battery health as poor after installing a new cell
The XMG Fusion 15 BIOS reads health data from EEPROM registers that were written against the old cell's charge history. When a new cell goes in, the EEPROM data no longer matches actual cell behaviour, so the system flags it as degraded. This is not a fault with the replacement — it is a data mismatch. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the BIOS learn cycle to rewrite those registers against the new cell. After one or two cycles the health reading normalises.
Laptop shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. The XMG Fusion 15 hits a voltage cliff under combined CPU and display load where the actual cell voltage drops below the protection threshold before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The gauge reports 25% but the cell is already at the BMS cutoff voltage, so the system shuts down. Complete two full calibration cycles — discharge to automatic hibernate, then charge to 100% — and the fuel gauge IC will map its curve correctly to the new cell's actual discharge profile.

Frequently Asked Questions
My XMG Fusion 15 shows 0% or "battery unknown" immediately after fitting the replacement — is the cell dead?
No. The fuel gauge IC lost its reference data when the old cell was removed, so it has no baseline to calculate state of charge on the new cell. Plug in the charger and let it charge uninterrupted to 100%, then run one full discharge to hibernate. The IC uses that cycle to map the new cell's voltage curve and will report an accurate percentage from that point forward.
The system info panel shows the wrong Wh rating — it says 80Wh but the cell is 91.2Wh. Is this the wrong battery?
This is an EEPROM mismatch, not a wrong part. The BIOS reads Wh data from EEPROM registers written for the original cell. The replacement cell's actual capacity is 91.2Wh as rated, but the stored EEPROM value from the previous cell still shows the old figure. Complete a full discharge-to-hibernate and uninterrupted charge-to-100% cycle. On most XMG Fusion 15 units the BIOS rewrites the register after one learn cycle and the displayed Wh corrects itself.
New battery charges fine but stops at 80% and will not go higher — is the cell faulty?
Almost certainly not. The XMG Fusion 15 BIOS includes a charge limit feature that caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress. If this was enabled on the previous battery, the setting carries over to the replacement. Go into the Schenker Control Center or BIOS power settings, locate the charge limit or battery care option, and either raise the limit to 100% or disable the feature entirely.
