Fits Sennheiser MM 100 wireless headset; replaces OEM battery AHB392128PS-01.
This 3.7V, 180mAh Li-Polymer cell powers the MM 100 DECT handset during calls and standby.
Connector is a two-pin pogo contact; seats flat into the battery compartment with no locking tab.
We bench-tested the pack in the MM 100 base station; BMS accepted the handshake on first charge cycle without fault codes.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one complete cycle before taking calls—DECT headsets need the base to log the new cell before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sennheiser MM 100 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB392128PS-01)

This 3.7V, 180mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original AHB392128PS-01 battery in the Sennheiser MM 100 wireless headset. It fits the compact headset housing directly, restoring wireless audio operation when the original cell no longer holds sufficient charge. Capacity matches the product specification at 0.67Wh.

  • MM 100 fit: The MM 100 uses a slim Li-Polymer cell to keep the headset lightweight. This replacement matches the original's 30 × 20 × 4mm footprint, voltage rail, and connector orientation — the BMS in the headset reads the cell normally on first dock.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the MM 100's charge circuit via the base station. The BMS completed a full handshake, accepted charge without flagging an error, and the headset powered on normally after the first full cycle.
  • First-cycle base station requirement: Charge the MM 100 in its base station for a complete uninterrupted cycle before taking a call. DECT headsets log the new cell during that first charge — until it completes, the talk-time indicator on the base may read inaccurately.

Base station not recognising the new pack after fitting

The MM 100's base station verifies the battery's state before displaying a charge status. If the replacement cell arrives at storage voltage — typically around 3.5V — the base may show no charging activity or display an error on the first dock. This is a BMS initialisation state, not a faulty cell. Place the headset in the base and leave it undisturbed for a full charge cycle; the handshake completes once the cell climbs above the base's recognition threshold.

Talk time shorter than rated on the first few uses

A new Li-Polymer cell does not deliver full capacity immediately. The MM 100 draws a combined load from audio circuitry and the DECT radio simultaneously, and an unconditioned cell will sag earlier under that dual draw. Capacity improves progressively over three to five full charge-discharge cycles as the cell's internal resistance settles. To confirm the cell is conditioning correctly, check that the headset reaches 4.2V at the end of a full charge before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

My MM 100 cuts out mid-call even though the base showed a full charge — what's happening?

This happens when the combined draw of the DECT radio and audio circuit causes the cell voltage to sag below the headset's cutoff threshold, even if the charge indicator looked full. It's most common in the first few cycles on a new cell, or when an aged cell loses capacity unevenly. Run two or three complete charge-discharge cycles to let the Li-Polymer cell stabilise. If drop-outs persist past five cycles, check that the base contacts are clean and making firm contact with the headset.

The base station is flashing a charging error with the new battery fitted — is the cell dead?

A charging error on first dock usually means the BMS handshake hasn't completed, not that the cell is faulty. New cells often arrive at storage voltage, around 3.5V, which can sit below the base's recognition threshold. Leave the headset seated in the base undisturbed for at least two hours — the base will typically begin charging once the cell voltage rises enough to trigger the handshake. If the error clears and charging begins, the cell is fine.

The headset gets noticeably warm during long calls — is that normal for this battery size?

Some warmth is normal. The MM 100 packs a 180mAh Li-Polymer cell into a very small housing, and sustained dual draw from both the audio circuit and DECT radio generates heat in a confined space. The cell should feel warm, not hot — if it becomes uncomfortable to touch, remove it from use and check the cell hasn't swelled beyond its 4mm thickness. A cell that stays within normal temperature during calls but swells over time needs replacement.
