Shure ADX1M Bodypack Transmitter — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (95A24863 / SB910M)

This 3.7V, 500mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the internal cell in the Shure ADX1M bodypack transmitter. It also fits the DX1M G57 and DX1M transmitter variants that share the same battery bay and connector. Dimensions are 54.70 × 39.20 × 8.30mm — confirm against your existing cell before installing.

• ADX1M and DX1M shared battery platform: These transmitters run the same 3.7V Li-Polymer cell across the ADX1M and DX1M G57 variants. The battery bay dimensions, connector orientation, and BMS handshake protocol are identical, so one cell covers the full group.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on the ADX1M transmitter under combined DSP and RF transmit load. The BMS held stable across the full discharge curve with no mid-session cutoff tripped by transmit-mode current spikes.
• ADX1M contact cleaning after swap: The gold pogo-pin contacts inside the ADX1M battery bay oxidise with repeated cycling. Before fitting a new cell, wipe the contacts with a dry cotton swab. Voltage sag under combined RF transmit and DSP load on the ADX1M

The ADX1M draws from two loads simultaneously — the RF transmitter stage and the onboard DSP processing the audio signal. At peak combined draw, a degraded or undersized cell will sag below the BMS cutoff threshold before the nominal capacity is depleted. This triggers a shutdown that looks like a dead battery but is actually a voltage floor trip. A healthy 3.7V Li-Polymer cell with a low internal resistance value handles the combined load without sag. If the transmitter shuts off early, check that the replacement cell's open-circuit voltage reads at least 4.1V before install.

Receiver loses sync immediately after ADX1M battery swap

Cutting power to the ADX1M by removing the battery clears the active RF channel handshake stored in the transmitter's working memory. When the new cell is inserted and the transmitter powers up, some Shure receiver units do not automatically re-establish the link — they wait for a manual re-pair command. This is not a battery fault. Power cycle the receiver, then hold the sync button on both units until the channel lock indicator confirms pairing. The transmitter should show a steady RF status LED within a few seconds of a successful handshake.
