This 3.7V 1300mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Siemens Gigaset SL3501 cordless handset and compatible Gigaset models. It fits the SL30, Gigaset 4000 micro, and Gigaset 4000s micro among others. Voltage and capacity match OEM specs exactly — the handset charges and reports battery level normally through the base station.

The base station charge light stays off or shows an error after I fitted the replacement battery — what's wrong?
A new Li-ion cell shipped in storage state can sit below the base station's charge-acceptance threshold. The base detects a voltage it reads as a fault rather than a discharged pack. Connect the handset to a USB charger via the handset's data port if available, or leave it seated in the base for 30 minutes — the trickle current will bring the cell voltage above the acceptance floor and the charge light will activate normally.
The Gigaset handset signal drops and calls break up near the edge of the room — could the new battery cause this?
Yes. When the battery voltage sags under RF transmit load, the handset reduces transmit power to protect the cell. This cuts effective range before the battery indicator shows low. If this happens within the first few charge cycles, the cell hasn't yet reached full capacity calibration. Complete two full charge-to-discharge cycles and check that the handset reads 3.7V at full charge before testing range again.
