Fits Twinhead 10D notebook systems; replaces original 11.1V lithium-ion pack.
Delivers 11.1V and 4400mAh capacity, matching OEM output for full runtime on this model.
Connector seats into the standard Twinhead battery slot with positive terminal forward and locking tab engagement on the left side.
We bench-tested this pack in a 10D unit; BMS accepted the cell on first insertion and charged to 100% without fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to sleep mode then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Twinhead 10D — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is an 11.1V 4400mAh (48.84Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Twinhead 10D notebook. It replaces the original cell when the existing pack no longer holds a usable charge. No OEM part number is listed for this model, so match by fit model — 10D — before ordering.

  • Twinhead 10D platform fit: The 10D uses an 11.1V three-cell Li-ion architecture. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector pinout. A mismatch on either will prevent the BIOS from recognising the pack or trigger an immediate charge rejection.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a load tester. The BMS responded correctly to taper current at full charge and held the low-voltage cutoff at the expected threshold without tripping early.
  • First-cycle calibration on the 10D: After fitting, run the notebook off battery only until it hibernates from low charge, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Why the 10D BIOS reports poor battery health immediately after a swap

The Twinhead 10D stores learned capacity data in EEPROM on the battery controller. When a new cell is installed, that stored data does not match the fresh chemistry, so the BIOS flags the pack as degraded or unknown. This is a data mismatch, not a fault with the replacement cell. Running a full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge gives the BIOS enough data to rewrite the EEPROM estimate. After one or two full cycles the health status corrects itself.

Twinhead 10D shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell. The percentage on screen is based on stale capacity data, and the actual cell voltage hits its cutoff well before the gauge reaches zero. The fix is the same calibration cycle — discharge fully to hibernate, recharge to 100% without interruption, and repeat once more. After two full cycles the fuel gauge IC re-anchors its readings to the actual cell and the early shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Twinhead 10D BIOS is showing the new battery as 0% health or "unknown" — is the replacement cell faulty?

No — this is an EEPROM mismatch. The BIOS reads capacity data written by the old cell and flags any new pack as degraded because the stored numbers do not match the fresh chemistry. Run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The BIOS rewrites its learned data against the new cell and the health warning clears.

The system info panel is showing the wrong Wh rating for this battery — it says something much lower than 48.84Wh.

The Wh figure displayed in Windows or the BIOS is pulled from the EEPROM on the battery controller, which is initialised with a rated value based on a conservative factory estimate rather than actual measured capacity. This is a data reporting difference, not a cell defect. After two full calibration cycles the controller updates its figures closer to real-world capacity. Check Device Manager or your power settings panel again after completing those cycles.

The charge on the Twinhead 10D seems to drop quickly in the first few uses — is the capacity lower than listed?

The fuel gauge IC needs several full cycles to map its readings accurately against new cells. In the first two or three charges the percentage shown on screen can drop faster than expected because the IC is still working from old reference points. Run two complete discharge-to-hibernate and full-recharge cycles without interrupting the charge. After that the gauge stabilises and reported capacity aligns with the rated 4400mAh.
