Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Ufesa Exprimidor USB Squeeze & Go — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (9210562209)
This 7.4V 1500mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell pack in the Ufesa Exprimidor USB Squeeze & Go portable citrus juicer. It restores cordless operation for extracting juice from oranges and lemons without a mains connection. Voltage and capacity match OEM part 9210562209 exactly.
- Exprimidor USB Squeeze & Go fit: This model uses a compact 7.4V two-cell Li-ion pack with a specific connector pitch and BMS handshake tied to the USB charging circuit. A mismatched voltage or connector pinout will prevent the charger from initiating at all.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge cycles on the Squeeze & Go USB charging circuit and confirmed the BMS accepts the charge handshake cleanly. Under motor load, cell voltage held steady with no premature cutoff triggered.
- Contact drying after kitchen use: Wipe the charging contacts dry before plugging in after juicing — citrus moisture and fine pulp residue on the contacts trigger a BMS protection fault that blocks charging until the contacts are fully clear.
Motor power dropping mid-squeeze on thick citrus rinds
Thick-skinned oranges and grapefruits push the Squeeze & Go motor harder than soft lemons or limes. That spike in current draw pulls cell voltage down fast, and the BMS reads it as a low-voltage event and cuts power to protect the cells. A degraded original battery hits this cutoff threshold earlier because its internal resistance is higher, so voltage sags faster under the same load. A fresh cell pack with lower internal resistance sustains voltage through the squeeze cycle without triggering that cutoff.
Juicer not charging after use near the sink
The USB charging port and metal contact pads sit close to the juicing head, which means water and citrus spray reach them easily. When moisture bridges the contacts, the BMS interprets it as a short-circuit condition and locks out charging entirely. Let the contacts air dry for at least 15 minutes, then wipe with a dry cloth before reconnecting. If the charger still shows no activity after drying, check that the USB cable is delivering at least 5V at the port before concluding the battery is the fault.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Ufesa Squeeze & Go slow down halfway through juicing a thick orange but work fine on lemons?
Thick citrus skin puts more resistance against the motor, which pulls higher current from the battery in a short burst. That current spike drops cell voltage fast, and the BMS cuts motor power to stop the cells going below the safe threshold. On a degraded battery, internal resistance is already elevated, so the voltage sag hits the cutoff point sooner. A replacement cell pack with lower internal resistance holds voltage above the BMS trip point through the full squeeze.
My Squeeze & Go juicer stopped charging after I rinsed it near the sink — the USB light doesn't come on at all. What happened?
Citrus juice or water on the charging contacts creates a conductive bridge across the terminals, which the BMS reads as a fault and uses to block the charge circuit immediately. Dry the contacts thoroughly with a cloth and leave the unit upright for 15 minutes before attempting to charge again. If the charge indicator still doesn't activate, check your USB cable on another device to confirm it is supplying 5V — the Squeeze & Go will not initiate charging on a low-output cable. Once the cable is confirmed and contacts are dry, reconnect and the BMS should clear the fault automatically.
The juicer feels warm after juicing several oranges back to back — is that a battery problem or the motor?
Both the motor and the battery generate heat in the same enclosed housing, and that heat accumulates quickly when the unit runs through multiple squeeze cycles without a break. The battery cell temperature rising above roughly 45°C causes the BMS to reduce output current, which you notice as the motor feeling weaker on later fruits. Let the unit sit unpowered for five minutes between heavy sessions so heat can dissipate through the housing before the BMS thermal threshold is reached. If the unit feels hot to the touch after just two or three oranges, the original cells have likely degraded and are producing excess heat from high internal resistance.
