Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ultenic D1C / MC1 / T10 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (T-4S1P-A)
This is a 14.4V 6700mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Ultenic D1C, MC1, and T10 cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the battery port of these models and powers the vacuum motor directly. Capacity is sourced from the product data at 6700mAh (96.48Wh).
- D1C, MC1, and T10 compatibility: These three models share the same 14.4V battery rail, physical connector layout, and BMS handshake protocol, which is why a single cell — the T-4S1P-A — covers all three. The pack communicates cell status to the vacuum's onboard controller before the motor is allowed to draw current.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through a full charge-discharge cycle on the D1C motor platform. The BMS held the cutoff threshold correctly under both normal suction load and a simulated blockage-surge condition, tripping and recovering without controller fault flags.
- Dock charging habit for this vacuum: Do not leave the D1C sitting on the charging dock continuously between uses. These vacuums trickle-charge when docked and full, which compresses cell capacity faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, remove from the dock, and reconnect only when the battery needs topping up.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the D1C
This happens when the motor draws more current than the pack's rated discharge ceiling — usually because airflow is restricted. A blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling amps beyond what the BMS expects for normal suction load. The BMS reads this as an overcurrent condition and throttles output voltage to protect the cells, which the vacuum motor translates directly into weaker suction. Clean or replace the filter first, then check that the dustbin seal is seated correctly before assuming the battery is at fault.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained restricted airflow — from a blocked nozzle, full bin, or clogged post-motor filter — forces the motor to draw above the pack's overcurrent threshold, the BMS disconnects the output rail to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and allows current flow again, so the motor restarts. Clear the obstruction, confirm the filter is clean, and check that the battery contacts on both the pack and the vacuum chassis are free of dust and debris before the next cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Ultenic D1C suction gets noticeably weaker well before the battery light shows low — is this a battery problem or something else?
Usually it's a restricted filter forcing the motor to draw more current than the pack's normal discharge ceiling. The BMS throttles output voltage to protect the cells, and the motor loses power before the charge indicator drops. Clean or replace the foam and HEPA filters first — if full airflow restores suction, the battery is fine. If suction stays weak with a clean filter, check that the battery contacts on both the pack and the chassis are clean and making solid contact.
The D1C motor cuts out for a few seconds while I'm vacuuming a heavy rug, then starts again on its own — what's causing that?
That is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike from sustained restricted airflow into a dense pile. When the nozzle is partially blocked or the bin is near full, the motor pulls amps above the pack's protection threshold, and the BMS disconnects the output rail briefly. Empty the dustbin, check the nozzle for blockages, and confirm the post-motor filter is clean before your next run. The cutoff reset takes roughly 5–10 seconds and the pack does not need to be removed or restarted manually.
I replaced the battery but the D1C won't take a charge — the charger light just blinks and nothing happens. What do I check first?
A blinking charger light on the D1C usually means the charger cannot complete the BMS handshake with the new pack — often because the cell voltage has dropped below the charger's initiation threshold during storage. Disconnect the charger, wait 60 seconds, reconnect, and hold the charge connection for at least 2 minutes without interruption to allow the BMS to wake the cells. If the charger still won't latch, check that the gold contact pins on the battery base are clean and not bent — a partial contact breaks the handshake signal before charging can start.
