Fits Veho MUVI K1 and MUVI K2 action cameras, replaces OEM part VCC-A034-SB.
3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion cell delivers 5.55Wh — standard capacity for compact wearable recording without extended intervals.
Connector seats flush into the K1/K2 battery slot with positive contact on release tab orientation.
We bench-tested this cell in K1 body; BMS accepted the pack on first charge cycle without fault codes.
On initial K1 insertion, run one full charge-discharge loop via camera body before continuous video recording — Veho firmware requires internal charge cycle to map battery-remaining display accurately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Veho MUVI K1 / K2 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (VCC-A034-SB)

This is a 3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion battery for the Veho MUVI K1 and K2 action cameras, including VCC-006-K1 and VCC-006-K2NPNG variants. It replaces OEM part VCC-A034-SB and fits directly into the compact camera body. Capacity figures are taken from the product data: 1500mAh / 5.55Wh.

  • K1 and K2 platform fit: Both the K1 and K2 share the same cell format, connector pinout, and voltage rail at 3.7V nominal. The BMS in each body uses the same charge-termination handshake, so one cell covers the full model range listed above.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a K2 body. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity. Voltage held steady through moderate continuous-record loads.
  • First-use charge protocol for MUVI bodies: On first install, run one complete charge cycle through the camera body or OEM charger before shooting. MUVI bodies map the battery-remaining indicator against a known discharge curve — skipping this step can cause the indicator to read inaccurately from the first session.

Why the MUVI K1 shows a dead battery icon on a partially charged replacement cell

The K1 body stores a discharge curve from the previous cell and uses it to estimate remaining charge. When a new cell goes in, the camera's indicator maps against that old curve until a full cycle resets it. The result is a low or empty battery icon even when the cell is at 3.9V or above. One full charge cycle — from flat to termination inside the camera body — re-calibrates the indicator and clears the false reading.

Battery percentage jumping erratically during recording on the MUVI K2

The K2's fuel gauge samples voltage at fixed intervals and converts it to a percentage using a lookup table tuned to the OEM cell's discharge curve. A replacement cell with a slightly different mid-discharge voltage profile will hit those voltage thresholds at different points, causing the percentage to jump or stall. This does not indicate a faulty cell — it is a calibration mismatch. After two to three full charge and discharge cycles in the camera body, the readings stabilise as the BMS updates its reference points.

Frequently Asked Questions

The MUVI K1 shows "no battery" or won't power on at all with the new cell installed — what's wrong?

The K1 BMS runs a brief authentication check on insertion. If the cell voltage sits below roughly 3.0V from storage, the camera can reject it before charging begins. Place the cell in an external Li-ion charger and bring it up to at least 3.4V, then re-insert it into the camera body and connect USB. One charge cycle from within the camera typically resolves the rejection and the body will power on normally from that point.

The battery percentage on the MUVI K2 drops from 100% to 60% in the first few seconds of recording — is the cell defective?

It is not defective. The K2 voltage indicator is calibrated to the OEM cell's discharge curve. A replacement cell with a marginally different curve hits the camera's voltage thresholds at different points, so the display jumps sharply at the start of a draw event. Run two full charge-to-discharge cycles inside the camera body and the percentage tracking will stabilise across the discharge range.

The MUVI K1 body gets noticeably warm during extended recording sessions — is that a battery issue?

The warmth is primarily from the image sensor and processor running continuously, not the cell alone. The 3.7V cell does contribute heat as it supplies sustained current to the sensor, processor, and storage write cycles simultaneously. If the body becomes hot rather than warm, check that the ventilation area around the body is not covered during shooting. Cell temperature during normal operation should stay well below 45°C — if it exceeds that, stop recording and let the body cool before the next clip.
