Fits Vivo X20A, X20A Dual SIM, and X20A Dual SIM TD-LTE; replaces OEM part B-D1.
3.85V, 3150mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers rated capacity for standard smartphone load.
Connector seats flush into the X20A battery slot with no adapter needed.
We bench-tested the B-D1 against known discharge curves; BMS accepted full charge on first cycle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging runs.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo X20A Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-D1)

This 3150mAh (12.13Wh) Li-Polymer cell replaces the original B-D1 battery in the Vivo X20A, X20A Dual SIM, and X20A Dual SIM TD-LTE. It runs at 3.85V nominal, matching the power management IC spec on all three variants. Swap it when the original cell can no longer hold charge through a normal day of calls and app use.

  • X20A, X20A Dual SIM, X20A Dual SIM TD-LTE: All three share the same 3.85V power rail, B-D1 connector footprint, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers the full variant lineup without any wiring or adapter changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran a full discharge-charge cycle on the X20A board and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell without error flags, the charge IC ramped to full current normally, and the fuel gauge IC logged the cycle without reset prompts.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and complete one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate — this lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated state.

Why the X20A reports the wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The X20A uses a coulomb counter that stores learned discharge curves from the original cell. After a swap, that stored data no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity curve. The OS reads a percentage from stale calibration data, so the number displayed drifts from the real state of charge. One complete slow discharge down to auto-off followed by a full charge resets the counter to the new cell baseline.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display draws a high current spike and the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. On an uncalibrated new cell, this cliff appears higher in the charge curve than it will after a few cycles. The fix is the same calibration cycle: drain the phone fully to auto-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate. After two or three full cycles the BMS voltage floor and the fuel gauge reading align, and the premature shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vivo X20A won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V while in storage and the BMS has locked out to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will allow normal operation. If the screen shows a low-battery animation at any point, the cell is recovering. If there is no response after 45 minutes on charge, the cell has dropped too far to recover and the replacement B-D1 cell is the next step.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after fitting this battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. The USB-PD or proprietary fast charge handshake on the X20A requires the BMS to confirm cell state before allowing high-current delivery, and on a fresh cell that confirmation is withheld on the first cycle. Use the standard 5V charger for the first full charge. Once the BMS completes that initial cycle and logs the cell as healthy, fast charging resumes on the next plug-in automatically.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery while charging — is the new cell faulty?

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. Higher impedance means more energy converts to heat during the first few charges. This is normal and the warmth reduces as the cell conditions over two to three full cycles. If the phone becomes hot enough to trigger a charging-paused notification repeatedly after five cycles, check that the charge IC is not running at fast-charge current into a damaged port — drop back to a 5V/1A charger and confirm the temperature returns to normal.
