Fits Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Mi 14 Ultra, replaces OEM battery part BP51.
3.86V at 4900mAh delivers full capacity to the flagship's processor, modem, and display stack.
Connector type is proprietary Xiaomi; locking tab seats flush into the battery slot housing.
We bench-tested this cell on a standard USB-PD charger — BMS accepted the profile on first cycle without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra — 3.86V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BP51)

This is a 3.86V, 4900mAh (18.91Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone. It replaces the original BP51 cell when capacity has degraded to the point where the phone can no longer sustain a full day of normal use. Fits both the 14 Ultra and Mi 14 Ultra variants sharing the BP51 form factor.

  • 14 Ultra and Mi 14 Ultra compatibility: Both variants use the same BP51 cell, connector pinout, and BMS handshake with the Xiaomi charge IC. Swapping this cell into either board produces the same voltage rail and thermistor response the system expects.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a 14 Ultra board. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC ramped through CC/CV stages cleanly with no thermal interruptions.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable Xiaomi's fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

A new BP51 cell has a different internal resistance profile than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. Under the sudden current spike from the Snapdragon platform's modem burst or the display's peak draw, cell voltage drops faster than the IC predicts, triggering a low-voltage protection cutoff before the gauge reaches zero. The phone reads 25% and shuts off — not a fault, just a miscalibrated curve. One full discharge to automatic power-off followed by a complete charge cycle resets the coulomb counter against the actual cell. After that cycle, cutoffs should align correctly with the displayed percentage.

USB-PD or Xiaomi fast charge not recognised on first plug-in after swap

On the first charge after installation, some units show standard 5W charging even when connected to a Xiaomi 67W or 90W adapter. This happens because the charge IC runs a handshake sequence that checks cell voltage and BMS status before unlocking high-current modes — a freshly installed cell at partial charge can cause the IC to hold back. Plug in the supplied or original Xiaomi cable, allow the first charge to complete fully without interruption, and fast charge negotiation will unlock on the next session. Do not use a third-party cable for the first charge cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Xiaomi 14 Ultra keeps shutting off at around 25% after fitting the new BP51 — is the battery faulty?

It is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from your old, degraded cell. When the new cell's voltage drops faster than the IC expects under modem or camera load, the system triggers a protection cutoff early. Run one full discharge to automatic power-off, then charge to 100% without interruption. That resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage is jumping around — it reads 60%, then drops to 41%, then climbs back to 55% within a few minutes. What is happening?

The fuel gauge IC uses a stored capacity model built around your original cell. A new cell with a different impedance profile causes the IC to misread state-of-charge, producing erratic percentage jumps. This is a calibration gap, not a hardware failure. Complete two full discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycles with fast charging disabled, and the IC will rebuild an accurate model against the new BP51 cell.

Phone gets noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges after replacement — is that normal?

A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher impedance than a cell that has gone through several hundred cycles. During the first few charges, the charge IC pushes current into a higher-resistance cell, which converts more energy to heat than usual. Keep the phone on a flat surface and out of a case for the first two or three full charges. Warmth should reduce noticeably by the third cycle as impedance settles — if it remains hot to the touch after five cycles, check that the cell connector is fully seated on the board.
