Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi M365 / M365 Pro Series — 36V Li-ion Replacement Battery (NE1003-H)
This is a 36V 7800mAh (280.8Wh) Li-ion battery for the Xiaomi M365 electric scooter and its close variants. It fits the M365, 1S, M365 Pro, and M365 Pro Smart Foldable. The NE1003-H form factor slots into the scooter's deck compartment and connects to the stock BMS and motor controller.
- M365 and Pro series compatibility: The M365, 1S, and both Pro variants share the same 36V deck-mount battery rail and connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is identical across these models, so the controller accepts this pack without firmware or wiring changes.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on an M365 deck. The BMS balanced cells correctly, held cutoff at the expected low-voltage threshold, and reported state of charge accurately through the Xiaomi app connection.
- Cold-weather charge handling: After winter storage, charge this battery slowly before the first ride. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and fast charging below 10°C causes lithium plating on the anode that permanently reduces capacity. Let the scooter and battery warm to room temperature first.
BMS cutting out during hill starts on a new pack
Hill starts pull peak current from the battery in a fraction of a second. On the M365, that surge can exceed 15A — high enough to trip the BMS overcurrent protection, especially when the pack is below 30% state of charge. A new battery does not eliminate this if the cell voltage is already low from shipping storage. Charge the pack to full before the first hill ride and the BMS threshold will have more headroom to absorb the start surge.
Charger LED stays green immediately — pack not accepting charge after storage
If the charger shows green within seconds of plugging in, the pack voltage has likely dropped below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically under 30V on a 36V system. The charger reads this as a full pack rather than a dead one. Some M365 chargers include a recovery mode: unplug, wait 30 seconds, then reconnect and hold the charge port connected for 60 seconds before the charger negotiates voltage. If the pack accepts trickle current, it will begin a normal charge cycle once cells rise above 30V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My M365 cuts out halfway up a steep hill but works fine on flat ground — is this the battery or the controller?
This is the battery BMS tripping on overcurrent during the sustained high-draw of a climb. On an incline, the M365 motor can pull well above its rated continuous current, and if cell voltage is already sagging toward the lower end of charge, the BMS shuts the pack down to protect the cells. It is not a controller fault. Charge to 100% before rides with significant elevation, and the BMS will have enough voltage headroom to stay online through the climb.
My scooter's range dropped noticeably in cold weather — did I get a faulty battery?
No — Li-ion cells lose 15–25% usable capacity below 5°C because lower temperatures increase internal resistance and slow ion movement through the electrolyte. The M365 is not insulated around the deck battery, so the pack temperature tracks ambient air closely. Ride at a reduced throttle setting in cold conditions to lower peak current draw, and store the scooter indoors before rides so the pack starts closer to room temperature.
The scooter stutters and briefly loses power under heavy load on inclines, but the battery indicator still shows charge — what causes this?
This is voltage sag, not a BMS cutout. Under heavy load — combined rider weight plus incline — the cells' internal resistance causes the pack voltage to dip momentarily, enough to make the motor controller briefly reduce output. The battery indicator shows average state of charge, not instantaneous voltage, so it can look fine while sag is happening. Check the live voltage in the Xiaomi app under load; if it drops below 32V during the stutter, the cells are aging and sag will worsen over time.
