Fix the blockage first; if the trip keeps happening on a clear filter, check that the charger brought the pack to a full 16.8V before use.

The Viomi V3 battery stopped holding a charge after I left it on the dock for a few weeks — is the pack dead?

Continuous dock charging is the leading cause of premature capacity fade on the Viomi V3. The dock does not reliably cut trickle current once the pack is full, so cells sit at a high state of charge for extended periods, which degrades them. If the pack still accepts a charge but delivers noticeably less suction time, the cells have lost capacity and a replacement is the correct fix. Going forward, charge only when depleted and remove the vacuum from the dock once the indicator shows full.

The replacement battery charges fine but the Viomi V3 won't turn on — what's happening?

This points to a BMS initialisation issue rather than a bad cell. Some Viomi V3 units expect the battery BMS to complete a handshake with the vacuum's controller on first connection. Seat the battery firmly, then press and hold the power button for five seconds rather than a short press.
