Fits ZTE Axon 10 Pro, A2020, A2020N2, and Axon 10 Pro 5G; replaces OEM part Li3939T44P8h756547.
3.85V at 3900mAh restores full charge capacity to the Axon 10 Pro after degradation from repeated charge cycles.
Connector slides into the factory slot with a single plastic locking tab; orientation marked on the cell housing.
We bench tested this cell against the stock fuel gauge IC; BMS accepted charge voltage ramp without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to recalibrate the fuel gauge IC against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Axon 10 Pro — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li3939T44P8h756547)

This is a 3.85V, 3900mAh (15.02Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the ZTE Axon 10 Pro. It fits the A2020, A2020N2, and Axon 10 Pro 5G variants. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold a charge through a full day of use.

  • A2020 and A2020N2 compatibility: Both the standard and 5G variants of the Axon 10 Pro share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — all four fit models accept this cell without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Axon 10 Pro platform. The BMS handshake initialised correctly, charge current stepped down as expected near full capacity, and no thermal flags triggered during the test sequence.
  • First-cycle fast charge behaviour: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Axon 10 Pro after a cell swap

A fresh Li-Polymer cell has a steeper voltage-discharge curve than a worn original. The Axon 10 Pro's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's curve, so it misreads the remaining charge. Under sustained load from the modem or display, the new cell's voltage drops below the shutdown threshold before the OS registers 0%. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% to let the coulomb counter reset against the new curve.

USB-PD fast charge not activating on the first charge after replacement

On the first cycle, the charge controller may default to standard 5V/1A input while it negotiates BMS parameters with the new cell. This is normal — the handshake between the USB-PD controller and the fresh BMS can take one full charge cycle to complete. Do not interrupt the first charge. Once the cycle finishes, fast charging typically activates from the second charge onward. If it does not, confirm the charger output is at least 18W and the cable supports USB 2.0 data lines.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Axon 10 Pro shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC in the Axon 10 Pro is still calibrated to the worn original cell's voltage curve, so it cannot accurately read the new cell's remaining charge under load. When the modem or screen pulls current hard, the voltage dips below the hardware shutdown threshold before the OS counts down to zero. Run one full drain to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — that resets the coulomb counter against the new cell and clears the early-cutoff behaviour.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — should I be concerned?

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several charge cycles. The charge IC pushes current into higher resistance on those first cycles, which generates more heat than you would normally see. This settles down after three to five cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone stays warm past five full cycles or the back feels hot rather than warm, check that the charge port is clean and that you are not using a third-party charger exceeding 18W.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — it reads 60%, then 45%, then 55% within a few minutes.

Erratic percentage jumps happen because the fuel gauge IC's stored discharge model no longer matches the new cell. The coulomb counter is interpolating against stale reference data and producing unstable readings. Let the phone drain fully to auto-shutdown — do not force a restart — then charge it to 100% in one uninterrupted session. One complete cycle overwrites the old calibration data and the percentage should track smoothly from 3.85V full charge down to the 3.0V cutoff threshold.
