Fits ZTE Blade V60 Vita, Nubia V60, Nubia V60 Design; replaces OEM battery BL-49S-976546.
3.85V, 4900mAh lithium-polymer cell sustains the modem and display without voltage sag under load.
Connector slides into the original slot with standard phone battery orientation; locking tab engages flush.
We charged this cell in a ZTE platform simulator; the BMS accepted the handshake and held voltage steady across discharge cycles.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Blade V60 Vita / Nubia V60 Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BL-49S-976546)

This is a 3.85V, 4900mAh (18.87Wh) lithium-polymer cell built to replace the original BL-49S-976546 in the ZTE Blade V60 Vita, Nubia V60, and Nubia V60 Design. The original cell degrades after repeated charge cycles, causing capacity loss, unexpected shutdowns, or complete failure to hold charge. Swapping this cell restores the phone to full operating capacity.

  • Blade V60 Vita, Nubia V60, and Nubia V60 Design compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol tied to the BL-49S-976546 part number — one cell fits all three without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Blade V60 Vita. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering protection cutoff, and the fuel gauge IC registered capacity correctly after one full calibration cycle.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — prevents erratic percentage readings from the start.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff — the point where cell voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load — at a different state of charge than the old cell did. The phone reads 25% but the actual cell voltage has already fallen below the shutdown threshold. One full discharge cycle from 100% to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge, lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell. After that cycle, the percentage reading tracks accurately.

USB-PD fast charge not working on the first cycle after replacement

A new high-impedance cell can cause the charge IC to fall back to standard 5V charging on the first cycle. The BMS on a fresh cell has not yet completed its internal resistance characterisation, so the fast-charge handshake stalls as a protective measure. Run one standard charge to completion without fast charging enabled. On the second and subsequent cycles, the charge IC re-negotiates the fast-charge protocol correctly and full charging speed resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZTE Blade V60 Vita shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old cell, so it misreads the new cell's voltage cliff and cuts power before the percentage hits zero. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. After that single calibration cycle, the coulomb counter resets to the new cell's curve and the shutdowns stop.

The phone feels warm near the battery area while charging with the replacement cell — is this normal?

Some warmth during the first few charge cycles is expected. A new lithium-polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more heat as it pushes current through a tighter cell. This settles after three to five cycles as the cell's internal resistance drops. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, stop charging and check that the charge port is clean and the cable is rated for the phone's charge spec — target a normal warm-to-the-touch surface temperature, not hot.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — skipping from 60% to 45% then back up — after the swap.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell chemistry profile. The old cell's state-of-charge lookup table is still in memory, and the mismatch causes the percentage counter to skip as voltage readings fall outside expected ranges. Do not rely on the percentage display yet. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles — discharge to automatic shutdown each time, charge to 100% at standard speed — and the IC builds a new lookup table matched to this cell. Percentage readings stabilise by the end of the second cycle.
