ALBA D31H — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1050mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the ALBA D31H digital camera. It slots into the same battery compartment as the original NP-60 series cell. Voltage and capacity match the OEM spec exactly.

• NP-60 series fit: The D31H uses the NP-60 form factor — same contact layout, same voltage rail, same physical footprint as the original cell. No adapter or modification needed.

The D31H maps its battery indicator to a voltage-threshold curve calibrated against the original cell's discharge profile. A new third-party cell can sit at a slightly different resting voltage at the same state of charge. The camera reads that offset as a lower charge than is actually present, triggering the low-battery icon early. One full charge cycle inside the camera body usually resolves the mismatch and lets the BMS recalibrate its read points.

This happens when the camera's indicator logic is mapping voltage steps from the new cell's discharge curve to percentage brackets set for the original cell. The voltage doesn't drop linearly, so the display skips or jumps between values. It's a display calibration issue, not a fault with the cell itself. Charge the battery to 100% via the camera body, then run it down to at least 20% — one full cycle typically stabilises the readout.
