Fits Technaxx C4000 digital camera and replaces OEM battery CS-NP60FU.
3.7V, 1050mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full charge capacity to this compact camera body.
Connector seats flush into the C4000 battery chamber with standard locking tab engagement.
We tested the cell on a C4000 body; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without authentication errors.
On initial use, run one full charge cycle through the camera body itself before extended shooting — Technaxx firmware maps battery-remaining display during that first cycle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Technaxx C4000 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1050mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Technaxx C4000 compact digital camera. It restores full shooting capability when the original cell no longer holds a charge or fails to power the camera body. Capacity is 3.89Wh — matched to the C4000's power rail requirements.

  • C4000 fit: The C4000 runs a standard 3.7V single-cell Li-ion architecture with a low-current draw profile typical of compact cameras. This cell matches that voltage rail and the physical footprint — 53.20 × 35.30 × 7.10mm — so it seats correctly in the battery compartment without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench to verify BMS handshake and stable voltage delivery. The cell held steady across draw spikes from flash capacitor recharging and continuous video capture without triggering premature low-battery cutoff.
  • First-install charge cycle: Insert the cell and charge it fully inside the C4000 body before your first shoot. Some compact camera BMS systems recalibrate the battery-remaining indicator only after a full charge cycle completed through the camera body — skipping this step can cause the display to misread remaining capacity from the start.

Flash capacitor recharge dragging the C4000 battery indicator down

Every time the C4000 fires its built-in flash, the capacitor pulls a short, sharp burst of current to recharge. On an ageing original cell, that spike causes a visible voltage sag that the BMS reads as low charge and flags on the display. A fresh 1050mAh cell handles the recharge spike with less sag, so the battery indicator stays stable between shots. If the indicator still drops immediately after each flash on a new cell, confirm the first-install charge cycle was completed inside the camera body.

Battery percentage jumping or resetting mid-shoot

The C4000's fuel gauge maps voltage thresholds to percentage steps calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. A new cell discharges slightly differently, especially in the mid-range, which can make the percentage reading jump forward or reset unexpectedly. This is a display calibration issue, not a cell fault. Run two full charge-discharge cycles through the camera body and the indicator will settle into a more accurate read of remaining capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

My C4000 shows a dead battery icon straight away after fitting the new cell — is it defective?

It's almost always a BMS calibration issue, not a dead cell. The camera hasn't learned the new cell's discharge curve yet. Charge the battery to full inside the C4000 body using the original charger or USB cable, then power it on. After one complete charge cycle, the indicator should read correctly.

Shot count feels shorter than it should — the camera dies before I'd expect it to.

Flash, continuous autofocus, and video recording all pull current well beyond what still-photo-only specs suggest. If you're shooting with flash on every frame or recording extended video clips, the 1050mAh cell will deplete faster than a spec-based estimate implies. Track actual shot count across two full cycles without flash to get a reliable baseline, then factor flash use back in.

The C4000 gets noticeably warm during video recording and the battery drains faster than during photo shooting.

During video, the sensor, image processor, and display run simultaneously and continuously — combined draw is significantly higher than single-shot capture. That sustained load generates heat in the camera body and pulls more current per minute from the cell. This is normal behaviour, not a cell fault. Keep recording sessions to moderate lengths and allow the body to cool between extended clips to avoid thermal throttling affecting image quality.
