Fits Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 4.0 and replaces OEM part numbers TLi013BB and TLi013B2.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 1300mAh delivers sustained voltage to the processor, modem, and display under full load.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed and cannot be forced backward.
We bench tested this cell at 0.5C discharge and observed stable voltage curve with no early BMS cutoff across full depth.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 4.0 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TLi013BB)

This is a 3.7V, 1300mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 4.0 and Pixi 3 4.0 3G smartphones, including OT-4013 and OT-4013J variants. It replaces OEM part numbers TLi013BB and TLi013B2. The cell fits the standard Pixi 3 4.0 battery bay and connects to the phone's charge IC through the same three-contact layout as the original.

  • OT-4013 series fit: The OT-4013, OT-4013J, and 3G variants all share the same physical bay dimensions and voltage rail. At 3.7V nominal, the cell sits within the threshold the phone's BMS expects at startup. No voltage mismatch means the phone boots without a BMS rejection event.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the OT-4013 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, the charge IC progressed normally through pre-charge, CC, and CV phases, and the fuel gauge IC registered a valid cell state without manual reset.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The fuel gauge IC on the Pixi 3 4.0 reads a stored discharge curve — after a cell swap, it needs one complete cycle against the new cell before its coulomb counter reports accurate percentages.

Why the Pixi 3 4.0 shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a cell swap

The Pixi 3 4.0's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the voltage reading the IC reports and the actual cell voltage diverge under load. When the modem transmits or the screen backlights at full brightness, current draw spikes and the cell voltage drops sharply — faster than the IC predicts. The phone's protection circuit reads that as a low-voltage cutoff event and shuts down even though the displayed percentage still shows charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and brings the reported percentage back in line with actual cell state.

Phone warm near the battery during the first few charges

A new cell typically has higher impedance than a cycled one. The Pixi 3 4.0's charge IC pushes constant current into that higher-impedance cell during the CC phase, and the resistive loss generates more heat than you'd see on a broken-in cell. This is normal during the first two to three charge cycles and tapers as impedance drops with use. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — above 40°C — plug out and let the phone cool to room temperature before resuming charging at a lower-current USB source.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Alcatel Pixi 3 4.0 won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — new battery installed and still nothing

A cell stored at very low charge can drop below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout — the protection circuit blocks all current flow to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC runs a pre-charge trickle at around 100mA to bring the cell back above the 2.8V threshold needed to release the BMS lockout. Once the screen shows a charging indicator, normal charging resumes.

Battery percentage on my Pixi 3 4.0 jumps around erratically — goes from 60% to 15% and back up

The fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve learned from the original cell. After swapping to this replacement cell, the stored curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage profile, so the percentage reading jumps whenever load or current shifts. Run one complete discharge — screen on, active use — down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. That single cycle lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell and the erratic jumps stop.

Fast charging worked before I replaced the battery on my Pixi 3 4.0 — now it just charges slowly every time

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the Pixi 3 4.0 can default to standard 500mA charging because the new BMS hasn't yet completed a handshake with the phone's charging protocol. Complete one full standard charge to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — most units re-negotiate the higher charge rate on the second connection once the BMS has logged a completed cycle. If fast charging still doesn't resume, check that you're using the original charger, as the Pixi 3 4.0's charge IC validates the charger profile before stepping up current.
