Fits Alcatel One Touch Pop 4+ with OEM part number TLP025C1 or TLP025C2 replacement.
3.8V lithium-polymer cell rated 2000mAh delivers the same energy capacity as the original battery.
Connector slides straight into the Pop 4+ battery slot with no locking tab — seats flat.
We bench-tested this cell in the Pop 4+ and confirmed the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS on power-up without lockout.
On first charge after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Alcatel One Touch Pop 4+ — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TLP025C1)

This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Alcatel One Touch Pop 4+ and One Touch Pop 4 Plus (OT-5056D). It replaces OEM part numbers TLP025C1 and TLP025C2. Fit the replacement when the original cell no longer holds charge, causes unexpected shutdowns, or the phone will not power on at all.

  • Pop 4+ and Allure series fit: These models share the same physical cell footprint (90.80 × 42.10 × 4.00 mm), voltage rail, and connector pinout. The BMS handshake expects 3.8V nominal — this cell meets that threshold, so the charge IC accepts it without triggering a reject fault.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the OT-5056D. The BMS accepted charge without triggering thermal cutoff, and the fuel gauge IC responded correctly after one full calibration cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness spikes, current draw causes a voltage dip that the new cell's actual state of charge does not match on the old curve. The phone reads a safe percentage but the voltage drops below the cutoff threshold under load. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the coulomb counter to reset against the new cell — after that cycle, the shutdowns stop.

Phone not responding after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage dropped below 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage — the phone will not power on and may show no charge indicator at all. Connect to a wall charger, not a PC USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. Once the cell recovers above 3.0V, the BMS releases lockout and the phone boots normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Alcatel Pop 4+ keep shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so the percentage reading and the actual cell voltage are out of sync. Under load — mobile data, screen-on — the voltage dips below the cutoff threshold before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. After that single calibration cycle, the shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in the phone after replacing the battery — is the new cell faulty?

It is not faulty. The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake relies on the charge IC reading the cell's impedance before stepping up current. On a new, uncalibrated cell the IC defaults to standard charge rate as a precaution. Let the phone complete one full charge at the standard rate. On the second charge cycle the IC has enough data to accept the higher current and fast charging resumes normally.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it was at 60%, then jumped to 45% without the phone doing anything heavy. What's happening?

The coulomb counter inside the fuel gauge IC is recalibrating itself against the new cell's actual charge curve, and the readings are noisy until it completes that process. This is normal for the first two to three cycles after a cell swap on the Pop 4+. Run two full discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycles with fast charging disabled. The percentage readings stabilise once the IC has mapped the new cell's voltage curve from top to bottom.
