The Duxeo BX10 won't power on after the replacement battery was left sitting in storage before installation — how do I recover it?

Ni-MH cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell voltage drops far enough the BX10's BMS will refuse to boot rather than risk an under-voltage start. Connect the monitor to mains power and leave it on charge for a full cycle before attempting to boot on battery alone.
