Fits BLU Deejay Touch, Deejay II, Tattoo Mini TV, and six additional models; replaces OEM part N4S75T or N4S75J.
Voltage 3.7V and capacity 800mAh sustains the entry-level Android platform through moderate daily use cycles.
Connector solders directly to the motherboard contact pads; physical dimensions 50.00 x 38.00 x 4.80mm match OEM slot exactly.
We ran a full discharge cycle on a Deejay Touch motherboard; the BMS accepted the cell on first insertion with no fault codes.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's new discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Deejay Touch — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (N4S75T)

This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the BLU Deejay Touch and related BLU handsets. It fits the Deejay Touch, Tattoo Mini TV, Deejay II, and Lindy, among others. OEM part numbers N4S75T and N4S75J both cross-reference to this cell.

  • Multi-model BLU fit: These BLU handsets share a common 3.7V single-cell architecture with the same physical footprint and connector orientation. The BMS handshake requirements across the Deejay and Lindy lines are identical, so one cell services the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the Deejay Touch platform. The BMS accepted charge current without cutoff events, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold before cell damage could occur.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After swapping this cell in, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC on these BLU devices calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the percentage reading to jump erratically for the first several days.

Why the Deejay Touch reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The IC reads voltage and maps it against the old data, so the displayed percentage is wrong until it relearns. One full discharge below 5% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the coulomb counter to reset and rewrite the curve against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load — a voltage cliff the fuel gauge did not anticipate. The phone reads 25% but the cell is already at or near the BMS cutoff threshold under real current draw. It is not a faulty battery — it is an uncalibrated fuel gauge sending the OS a stale percentage. Run two full discharge-charge cycles and check whether the shutdowns move toward a lower reported percentage each time. If the phone still cuts out above 15% after three cycles, confirm charge voltage reaches 4.2V at the end of each charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

The BMS on these BLU cells locks out below roughly 2.5V per cell to prevent damage, and a battery in storage can self-discharge past that threshold. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge IC sees enough voltage to release the BMS lockout, the phone will boot. If there is no response after 45 minutes on the charger, check that the battery connector is fully seated before concluding the cell is unrecoverable.

The phone feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell draws charge current differently than the worn cell the charge IC was calibrated against, which generates more heat in the first few cycles. This is normal and typically settles by the third full charge cycle. If the back of the phone is uncomfortably hot or charging stops and restarts repeatedly, remove the phone from any case to improve airflow and switch to a charger rated at 5V/1A rather than a higher-output adapter. By cycle three, the charge IC adjusts to the new cell's impedance and the temperature drops noticeably.

The battery percentage jumps around — 40% one minute, then 65% the next — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell and has not yet built a reliable discharge map. It reads raw cell voltage and converts it using a stored curve that belongs to the old cell, so the output is inconsistent. Run one complete uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without unplugging early. After that single full cycle the counter resets its reference points and the percentage display stabilises.
