Fits Brondi Amico Sprint and Amico Del Cuore smartphones, replacing the original 3.7V Li-ion cell.
Voltage is 3.7V; capacity is 800mAh — sufficient for calls, messaging, and standby on this entry-level device.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation marked on the housing.
We bench-tested this cell on a fresh Amico Sprint motherboard; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes or early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable any fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve before high current pushes into an uncalibrated pack.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Brondi Amico Sprint / Amico Del Cuore — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 800mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Brondi Amico Sprint and Amico Del Cuore mobile phones. Both models share the same battery bay dimensions (50 × 38 × 4.80mm) and voltage rail, making one cell compatible across both. Capacity is rated at 2.96Wh — identical to the factory spec.

  • Amico Sprint and Amico Del Cuore compatibility: Both phones run the same 3.7V power rail with the same physical connector and bay geometry. The BMS handshake thresholds are matched, so the charge IC accepts this cell without triggering a fault flag on either model.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on the bench. The BMS held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold and accepted a full charge without tripping an over-voltage fault at the top of the curve.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After fitting this cell, run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before resuming normal use. The phone's fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle resets the coulomb counter reference and eliminates erratic percentage readings from the start.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Amico Sprint after a cell swap

A new Li-ion cell has a slightly different internal impedance profile than the aged cell the phone's power management IC was tracking. Under load — a call, a screen-on burst — the cell voltage can sag below the shutdown threshold even when the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. This is a voltage-cliff issue, not a capacity defect. The fix is one full calibration cycle: discharge to auto-off, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the fuel gauge IC maps the new cell's actual discharge curve and the premature shutdowns stop.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below roughly 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power it on — the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9V. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, the BMS has exited lockout and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Amico Sprint shows a different battery percentage every time I restart it after fitting the new cell — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The phone's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge model calibrated to the old battery's internal resistance curve, and the new cell doesn't match it yet. The coulomb counter resets its reference after one complete cycle — discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% in a single uninterrupted session. After that one cycle, the percentage reading stabilises.

The phone feels warm near the battery compartment for the first few charges after I installed the replacement — should I be concerned?

This is normal on the first one to three charges. A new Li-ion cell starts with higher internal impedance than a well-cycled one, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more heat as it pushes current into the cell. The warmth drops off as the cell impedance settles after a few full cycles. If the phone still feels hot to the touch after the third full charge, check that the battery compartment cover is seated flush and not trapping heat.

My Amico Del Cuore powers on but the battery percentage jumps erratically — sometimes going up without charging. What causes this?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and the coulomb counter is producing unstable readings until it has a full reference cycle. Run the phone down to automatic shutdown — do not force-restart during discharge — then charge to 100% without interruption. That single full cycle gives the IC a clean low-point and high-point reference. After that, the percentage should track smoothly without jumping.
