Fits Casio Exilim EX-Z2000 and replaces OEM part numbers NP-110, NP-110DBA, NP-110L, NP-160.
This 3.7V lithium-ion cell delivers 1150mAh capacity, restoring full photo and video runtime to your Exilim without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight into the battery chamber with a single locking tab on the underside; orientation is keyed.
We bench-tested this cell in an EX-Z2000 body and confirmed the BMS accepted the new pack within one full charge cycle from the camera.
On first install, run one complete charge cycle inside the camera body using the OEM charger — the Exilim BMS requires this handshake to display accurate battery percentage and accept the new cell without false low-battery warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Casio Exilim EX-Z2000 / EX-Z200 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (NP-110)

This is a 3.7V, 1150mAh Li-ion cell replacing the Casio NP-110 battery. It fits the Exilim EX-Z2000, EX-Z200, Exilim Zoom EX-Z2000, and EX-Z2000BK, plus 19 additional Exilim variants. Use it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or fails to power the camera at all.

  • Exilim EX-Z2000 and EX-Z200 series fit: Both cameras share the same NP-110 battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers the full range of NP-110, NP-110DBA, NP-110L, and NP-160 OEM part numbers.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the EX-Z200 body using the OEM charger. The BMS accepted the cell on first charge, reported battery-remaining without error, and held voltage above 3.5V through the discharge curve.
  • First-use charge cycle on Exilim bodies: Run one full charge through the camera body or OEM charger before your first shoot. The Exilim BMS maps its battery-remaining indicator against a known discharge curve — skipping this step causes the indicator to jump erratically until the camera completes its calibration pass.

Flash recycling slowing down before the battery indicator shows low

The EX-Z2000's flash capacitor draws a high recharge current after each shot. As the cell approaches the lower end of its discharge curve — typically below 3.6V — available current drops and the capacitor takes longer to reach full charge. The camera body may still show one or two bars on the battery indicator while flash recycling noticeably lags. If you see recycling delays, check actual cell voltage with the OEM charger; below 3.55V, recharge before continuing a flash-heavy session.

Battery percentage jumping or resetting to full mid-shoot on a new cell

The Exilim's battery-remaining display maps voltage thresholds to percentage steps based on a learned discharge profile. A new cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the worn original, so the camera's threshold map initially misfires — showing a sudden jump up or down. This corrects itself after one or two full charge-to-discharge cycles in the camera body. Run the cell down to auto-off at least once, then charge fully; the indicator stabilises from that point.

Frequently Asked Questions

My EX-Z2000 shows "no battery" or refuses to power on with the new cell installed — what's happening?

The Exilim BMS runs an authentication check on first contact with a new cell. If the camera has been stored with a flat original battery, the BMS can time out before completing the check. Insert the new cell, connect directly to an OEM or compatible charger, and let it charge fully before attempting to power on — this completes the handshake and clears the no-battery flag.

Shot count feels much lower than expected — flash, continuous AF, and video all seem to drain it fast. Is the cell faulty?

The EX-Z2000's rated shot count is calculated under controlled conditions with minimal flash use. In real shooting — continuous AF hunting, optical zoom motor movement, flash firing every shot, and LCD at full brightness — draw is significantly higher than the spec baseline. The cell capacity is correct at 1150mAh; the higher drain is the combined load of every active subsystem, not a cell defect. Reduce LCD brightness and limit flash to fill-only mode to extend each charge further.

The camera body gets noticeably warm during sustained video recording — is that a battery issue or a camera issue?

Sustained video on the EX-Z2000 runs the image sensor, image processor, and stabilisation circuit concurrently at full load. That combined draw generates heat in both the cell and the camera body — it is normal and not a sign of a faulty battery. The cell's protection circuit will trigger a thermal cutoff if the cell itself overheats; if the camera shuts off mid-clip and the cell feels hot to the touch, allow both to cool to room temperature before resuming. If shutdown happens repeatedly while the cell remains cool, check that the battery contacts in the bay are clean and making full contact.
