Fits Datalogic ELF handheld scanners; replaces OEM battery BT-10, 94ACC1376, 94ACC1377.
3.7V and 6800mAh capacity sustains continuous barcode scanning and wireless connectivity throughout a full warehouse shift.
Connector seats vertically into the scanner's battery slot with a single locking tab on the right edge.
We ran discharge cycles at mixed scan-and-idle loads; the BMS held steady regulation until final cutoff, no early shutdown.
After installing this cell, place the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before shift use — scan trigger inrush current peaks when the cell sits near minimum, and a pre-charged pack prevents false BMS trips on first deployment.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Datalogic ELF — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BT-10)

This is a 3.7V Li-ion battery rated at 6800mAh (25.16Wh), built to replace the original pack in the Datalogic ELF handheld scanner. The ELF is a mobile data collection device used in retail, warehouse, and logistics environments for barcode scanning and inventory management. It replaces OEM part numbers BT-10, 94ACC1376, and 94ACC1377.

  • ELF platform fit: The ELF uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion pack with a proprietary BMS handshake that communicates charge state to the device OS. This replacement carries the same connector and BMS communication profile, so the scanner reports battery percentage correctly without error flags.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on ELF-class hardware. The BMS held stable charge termination at 4.2V and engaged low-voltage cutoff cleanly before cell depletion — no false shutdowns during scan-burst sequences.
  • First-shift preparation: After installing, seat the scanner in its cradle and run a full charge cycle before deploying on a pick-and-pack shift. Scan trigger inrush current is highest when the cell is near minimum — a pre-charged pack prevents false BMS trips during the first heavy scanning session.

Cradle charging error on a new ELF battery pack

Dock contacts on the ELF cradle accumulate oxidation and debris, especially in warehouse environments. When contact resistance rises too high, the cradle's charge controller sees an unexpected voltage drop and throws a charging error — even with a new pack. This is not a fault in the battery. Wipe the gold contacts on both the battery and the cradle base with a dry cloth, reseat the scanner firmly, and the charge indicator should clear within 30 seconds.

ELF losing wireless connection during rapid scan bursts

The ELF draws simultaneously from the radio module and the imager during high-frequency scanning. If the cell voltage sags under the combined inrush, the radio drops its connection before the scanner itself shuts down — users see a disconnected network icon mid-shift with the device still powered. This happens most often when the battery is below 20% charge. Keep the pack above that threshold during peak-demand shifts to keep the radio link stable.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Datalogic ELF stopped reading barcodes right after I put in the new battery — what's wrong?

The ELF imager needs a minimum supply voltage to fire reliably, and a freshly installed battery that hasn't been charged yet can sit just at that threshold. Place the scanner in its cradle and charge it fully before first use — the scan trigger draw is highest when the cell is near empty, and a low starting charge can trip the BMS or drop voltage below what the imager needs to activate.

The ELF cradle is showing a charging fault with the new pack but it charged the old battery fine — how do I fix it?

Dock contact resistance is the usual cause. Oxidation or grit on the cradle's charge pins creates enough resistance that the charge controller reads an abnormal voltage and faults out. Wipe the contacts on both the battery pack and the cradle with a dry cloth, reseat the ELF firmly until you feel it click, and check that the charge indicator resets within 30 seconds. If the fault persists, check the cradle pins for physical damage or debris lodged between them.

The ELF scanner feels warm after a long shift on the warehouse floor — is that a battery issue?

Sustained scanning combined with continuous Wi-Fi or Bluetooth polling generates steady current draw inside a compact, enclosed housing — heat is a normal byproduct. What matters is whether the housing feels uniformly warm or hot in one spot. Uniform warmth across the back of the device is expected. If the pack area gets noticeably hotter than the rest of the body, pull the scanner from service and check that the battery is seated correctly with no debris pressing against the contacts.
