Fits HTC Desire Eye and Desire Eye 4G models, replaces OEM battery part number B0PFH100.
This 3.85V lithium-polymer cell delivers 2400mAh capacity — enough to restore a full day of mixed use on the Desire Eye before the original battery degraded.
Connector slides straight into the factory slot with no modification; locking tab aligns flush with the stock housing.
We bench-tested this cell in a Desire Eye unit; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes and discharged smoothly under mixed load.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate to the new cell curve before the charger applies high current.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Desire Eye Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B0PFH100)

This 3.85V, 2400mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original cell in the HTC Desire Eye, Desire Eye 4G, and Desire Eye Dual SIM. OEM part numbers B0PFH100 and 35H00234-00M both apply to this cell. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a full day of charge.

  • Desire Eye variant compatibility: The Desire Eye, Desire Eye 4G, and Desire Eye Dual SIM all share the same battery bay dimensions and 3.85V voltage rail. The connector and BMS handshake are identical across these variants, so one cell fits all three.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on the Desire Eye platform and confirmed the BMS communicates charge state correctly to the OS. The cell hit rated capacity within two full cycles and the charge IC held cutoff voltage cleanly at 4.35V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a replacement cell

A new cell and the Desire Eye's fuel gauge IC start out of sync. The IC still references the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC maps to 20–30%, the actual cell voltage under screen or modem load drops sharply — and the phone shuts down to protect the circuit. One full discharge-charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to remap against the new cell. After that cycle, the percentage readings stabilise and the early shutdowns stop.

Phone won't power on after the battery sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage drops below 2.5V per cell, the BMS trips into lockout mode and blocks charge input to prevent thermal runaway. The phone will not respond to a standard charger. Use a USB charger capable of trickle output, or a dedicated cell charger with a recovery mode, to bring the cell above 3.0V slowly. Once the BMS sees voltage above that threshold, normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HTC Desire Eye keeps jumping between battery percentages after I put in the new battery — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC on the Desire Eye calibrated its coulomb counter to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell has a different curve. The IC is guessing until it maps the new cell. Run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that cycle the percentage readings settle.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after the battery swap — what's happening?

On the first charge cycle, the Desire Eye's charge IC can reject the proprietary fast-charge handshake when it sees an uncalibrated BMS on the new cell. This is a one-cycle behaviour. Let the phone complete a full standard charge to 100% first. On the next plug-in, fast charging should negotiate and activate normally.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement — is that normal?

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, which generates more heat than you'll see after the cell has a few cycles on it. Warmth during the first two or three charges is expected. If the phone gets hot enough to trigger a temperature warning or the back becomes uncomfortable to hold, remove it from charge and let it cool to room temperature before continuing.
