Fits HTC S630 phones; replaces OEM part LIBR160 and 35H00082-00M battery.
3.7V, 2250mAh lithium-ion cell restores full power to the S630's modem, display, and processor functions.
Connector slides straight into the S630 battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on housing.
We bench-tested this cell in an S630 unit; the BMS accepted charge immediately on first cycle with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC S630 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LIBR160)

This is a 3.7V lithium-ion cell rated at 2250mAh (8.33Wh), built to the LIBR160 spec. It fits the HTC S630 smartphone directly. If your original cell is swollen, fails to hold a charge, or the phone shuts off unexpectedly, this is the direct swap.

  • HTC S630 fit: The S630 uses the LIBR160 form factor — 54.13 x 40.57 x 10.84mm — with a fixed connector orientation and a BMS that handshakes over the same three-contact strip. No adapter, no modification required.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and charge sequences on the S630 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and charge termination triggered correctly at full voltage.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before committing that data to memory — skipping this step is the primary cause of erratic percentage readings.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the S630 after a cell swap

The S630's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve from the previous cell. A new cell with different internal impedance hits a voltage cliff earlier than the old curve predicts. The phone sees the voltage drop under modem or screen load and fires a low-voltage shutdown — even though the percentage readout still shows capacity remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle with no fast charging rewrites the curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.

Phone reports wrong battery percentage after installing the replacement

The coulomb counter in the S630 was calibrated against the original cell's internal resistance profile. A replacement cell — even at the same rated capacity — presents a different discharge slope, so the reported percentage drifts from the real state of charge. Drain the phone completely until it powers off on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the cable early. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter reference points and tightens percentage accuracy.

Frequently Asked Questions

The HTC S630 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the cell dead?

A cell stored at low charge can drop below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent deep-discharge damage. The phone will appear completely unresponsive — no boot, no charging indicator. Connect it to a wall charger (not a PC USB port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without touching it. Once the BMS detects enough trickle current to clear lockout, the charge indicator will appear and normal charging resumes.

Fast charging stopped working immediately after fitting the new battery — the phone just slow charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the S630's charge IC defaults to a conservative current profile while it reads the new cell's impedance. This is normal BMS behaviour, not a fault. Run one full slow charge to 100% without interrupting it. On the second cycle, the charge IC recalculates the safe fast-charge window and fast charging re-enables automatically.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell generates more heat during the initial charge cycles than a worn cell does, because the charge IC is pushing current into a cell it hasn't characterised yet. Light warmth at the back of the phone during the first two or three charges is expected. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, stop the charge and let the phone cool to room temperature before resuming — then check that the battery contacts are fully seated with no gap.
