Fits Huawei P10, P10 Standard Edition, P10 Premium Edition; replaces HB386280ECW and HB386280EBC battery packs.
3.82V lithium-polymer cell at 3200mAh delivers full power to the processor, display, and modem under concurrent load.
Connector slides into the battery slot with the flat contact edge facing downward; locking tab seats flush against the frame edge.
We bench-tested the HB386280EBC variant against a discharged P10 fuel gauge — the BMS accepted the new cell on first insertion without restart loops.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei P10 / P10 Standard Edition — 3.82V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB386280ECW)

This is a 3200mAh, 3.82V lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Huawei P10 and P10 Standard Edition smartphones. It also fits the VTR-L09 and P10 Premium Edition variants. OEM part numbers HB386280ECW and HB386280EBC both apply to this cell.

  • P10 variant compatibility: The VTR-L09, Standard Edition, and Premium Edition all share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers all listed models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, load, and BMS communication checks. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff and resumed charging without error on reconnect.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated register.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the P10 after a cell swap

The P10's fuel gauge IC stores a charge curve calibrated to the original cell. A new cell with slightly different internal resistance hits a voltage cliff earlier under modem or display load — the IC reads 25% but the cell voltage has already dropped below the safe operating threshold. The phone shuts down to protect the processor, not because the battery is faulty. One full discharge-to-cutoff and uninterrupted charge cycle rewrites the coulomb counter and eliminates premature shutdowns.

Huawei SuperCharge not activating after replacement

Huawei's proprietary fast-charge protocol requires a handshake between the charger, the charge IC, and the battery's BMS. On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS may not complete this handshake and the phone defaults to standard 5V/2A charging. This is not a fault — it clears after one standard-rate charge cycle. If SuperCharge still does not activate after two full cycles, verify the cable is the original Huawei SuperCharge cable, as third-party cables block the handshake at the hardware level.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Huawei P10 keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell bad?

The cell is not bad. The fuel gauge IC on the P10 is still running a charge curve calibrated to your old, degraded battery. When the new cell's voltage drops under modem or screen load, the IC misreads the remaining charge and triggers a protective shutdown before the display hits 0%. Run one complete discharge cycle — let the phone drain to automatic power-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% on a standard charger. That rewrites the coulomb counter and the premature shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my P10 is jumping around — it was at 60%, then jumped to 45%, then back to 55% in the same hour.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are a fuel gauge IC problem, not a battery problem. The IC is trying to reconcile its stored discharge curve against a cell with different impedance characteristics, so the percentage estimate swings until the IC has enough data to lock in. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption — no top-ups, no partial charges — and the readings will stabilise. If jumping persists past the second cycle, check that the battery connector is fully seated, as a loose pin introduces voltage noise the IC interprets as charge fluctuation.

My P10 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in the phone for three weeks before I used it.

Lithium-polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V during that three-week window, the BMS has locked the cell out to prevent damage. Plug the phone into the original Huawei charger and leave it connected for at least 20–30 minutes before pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold. If the phone shows no charge indicator at all after 30 minutes, try a different charging cable, as the BMS will not accept current through a cable that fails the handshake check.
