Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mechrevo X6Ti-H Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (7550830-160201791)
This is a 10.8V, 4400mAh (47.52Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Mechrevo X6Ti-H, X6Ti-M6, X6Ti-E3, and MR X6Ti-H notebooks. It replaces OEM part numbers 7550830-160201791, 7603830-161409927, BATRNFSV12-3100, GE5SN-00-01-3S2P-1, and NFSV151X-00-03-3S2P-0. The original cell degrades over charge cycles, losing capacity and eventually failing to hold voltage under CPU and display load.
- X6Ti platform compatibility: The X6Ti-H, X6Ti-M6, and X6Ti-E3 share a common 3S2P cell configuration and the same BMS connector pinout. Voltage rail and handshake protocol are identical across these models, so one cell fits all three without firmware or physical modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge on an X6Ti-series board. The BMS completed authentication, reported state-of-charge correctly, and held voltage stable through sustained CPU-plus-display load without triggering an emergency cutoff.
- Post-install calibration on the X6Ti: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge until the laptop hibernates at its low-voltage cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell's actual capacity and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new cell
The X6Ti BIOS reads health data stored in the battery's EEPROM, not from live voltage readings. When a new cell arrives, its EEPROM holds factory default values that don't match the laptop's learned charge history. The BIOS compares these values against its own records, sees a mismatch, and flags the battery as degraded or unknown. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge completes the learn cycle and rewrites the BIOS reference data to match the new cell.
Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge shown on the X6Ti
This happens when the cell's actual voltage under full CPU and display load drops faster than the fuel gauge IC predicted. The gauge was calibrated against the old, degraded cell, so its percentage readings no longer map accurately to real cell voltage. When true cell voltage hits the BMS cutoff threshold, the system shuts down even though the OS still shows charge remaining. Run two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's voltage curve — after that, the displayed percentage and actual remaining capacity will align. Check that the gauge reads correctly by verifying the cell sits above 10.0V at the 15% mark.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Mechrevo X6Ti shows my new battery as 0% or "unknown" in Windows — is the cell dead?
The cell is not dead. The fuel gauge IC in the X6Ti's battery controller still holds calibration data from the old cell and cannot map the new cell's voltage curve to a percentage yet. Run a full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the laptop. After one or two complete cycles the OS fuel gauge recalibrates and the reading returns to normal.
My X6Ti shows the replacement battery's Wh rating as lower than the original spec in the system information panel — did I receive the wrong cell?
The Wh figure shown in system info is read from the battery's EEPROM, which stores the manufacturer's rated value at the time of production. If that EEPROM value was written for a slightly different cell revision, the number displayed can differ from the 47.52Wh actual rating without affecting real-world capacity or charging behaviour. Verify the physical label on the cell reads 10.8V and 4400mAh — if those match, the cell is correct and the Wh discrepancy is a data field, not a capacity shortfall.
The X6Ti stops charging at 80% and will not go higher — is there a fault with the replacement cell?
This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Mechrevo's firmware includes a battery conservation mode that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during prolonged AC use. Check the Mechrevo Control Center app or the BIOS power settings under "Battery Charge Threshold" and disable or raise the limit to 100%. Once the firmware limit is cleared, the cell will charge to its full 4400mAh capacity.
