Fits Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G510F and SM-G5108 models; replaces OEM part EB-BG510CBC.
3.85V, 2200mAh lithium-ion cell matches the original discharge curve for calling and app load.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot; no locking tab — slides straight in and contacts cleanly.
We bench-tested this cell on a working SM-G510F; BMS accepted the pack without fault codes on first insertion.
On first full charge cycle after installation, skip fast charging — let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve before resuming normal charge rates.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Core Max SM-G510F — 3.85V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EB-BG510CBC)

This is a 3.85V, 2200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and Core Max series, including SM-G510F, SM-G5108, and SM-G5108Q. It matches the OEM part number EB-BG510CBC and fits the original battery bay without modification. Capacity is 8.47Wh — identical to the factory spec.

  • SM-G510F / SM-G5108 / SM-G5108Q platform: These models share the same 3.85V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits all listed variants without adapter or rewiring.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on the SM-G510F platform and confirmed BMS communication, charge acceptance across the full 4.35V cutoff, and stable voltage delivery under simultaneous LTE and screen load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on this platform calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the percentage readout to drift by up to 15% until recalibration completes.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SM-G510F after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. Under modem or display load, a new cell not yet profiled by the fuel gauge IC can drop below the BMS cutoff threshold — around 3.2V — faster than the reported percentage suggests. The phone interprets this as a hard fault and cuts power even though the gauge still reads 20–30%. One full slow discharge-to-charge cycle lets the fuel gauge map the actual discharge curve of the new cell, after which shutdown behaviour normalises.

Device not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage, and if the voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage. The phone will show no response to the power button and no charge indicator on the screen. Connect the device to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. Wall chargers deliver enough pre-charge current to wake the BMS; PC USB ports often cannot.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SM-G510F shows the wrong battery percentage after fitting this replacement — is the gauge broken?

The fuel gauge IC is not broken — it is still calibrated to the discharge curve of the old cell. After a battery swap, the coulomb counter needs one full uninterrupted discharge and charge cycle to remap itself against the new cell. Run the phone from 100% down to auto-shutdown, then charge to full in one session with fast charging disabled. Percentage accuracy will stabilise after that cycle.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the replacement battery — what happened?

On the first charge cycle after fitting a new cell, the charge IC on this platform sometimes fails to negotiate the proprietary fast-charge handshake because the BMS presents higher impedance on a fresh cell. This is not a fault with the battery or the charger. Charge once at standard speed to full, let the phone complete a full discharge, then reconnect — fast charging typically re-engages on the second cycle once the BMS impedance settles.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges — is something wrong?

A new high-impedance cell generates more heat during initial charge cycles than a worn cell does, because the charge IC is pushing current into a cell that has not yet settled its internal resistance. This is normal for the first two to three cycles and the temperature should drop noticeably after that. If the phone remains hot to the touch beyond the third full charge, check that the back cover is seated flat — poor contact can trap heat around the cell.
