Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 SM-G750 Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EB-BG750BBC)
This is a 3.8V, 2800mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2. It fits SM-G750, SM-G750A, SM-G750F, SM-G7508, and additional SM-G750 variants. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold a usable charge through a normal day.
- SM-G750 variant coverage: All SM-G750 variants listed share the same 3.8V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits the entire range without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on an SM-G750F chassis. The BMS accepted charge handshake on first connection, stepped through CC/CV phases without interruption, and held voltage above the 3.4V threshold through full discharge cycling.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SM-G750 after a cell swap
The SM-G750's modem and display together draw peak current that a degraded or uncalibrated cell cannot sustain. When cell voltage drops below roughly 3.5V under that load, the BMS triggers a hard cutoff before the OS fuel gauge reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC is still reading a curve calibrated to the old cell, so the reported percentage is wrong at the point of shutdown. Run one full discharge to near 0% and a full charge to 100% — this recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual voltage curve.
OS reporting wrong battery percentage after replacement
After fitting a new cell, the fuel gauge IC on the SM-G750 continues using the learned discharge model from the old battery. This mismatch causes the percentage to jump erratically or report full charge while the cell is still near 3.6V. The fix is a single full discharge-charge cycle with the screen on and no fast charging active. Once the coulomb counter resets against the new cell, percentage reporting stabilises within a few degrees of actual state of charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
My replacement battery won't fast charge on the SM-G750 — it just trickle charges no matter what charger I use. What's wrong?
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the SM-G750's charge IC sometimes withholds the high-current handshake until it verifies the BMS is responding correctly. Plug in the original Samsung charger — third-party adapters can fail the handshake entirely on a new cell. Let the phone complete one full slow charge uninterrupted. Fast charging typically re-enables on the second cycle once the charge IC logs a clean BMS response.
The phone feels warm near the battery area while charging — is this a fault with the new cell?
A new high-impedance cell generates more heat than a worn one during the initial charge cycles because the charge IC is pushing current into a cell that hasn't yet settled its internal resistance. Surface warmth around the battery bay on cycles one and two is expected. If the phone stays warm after the third full charge cycle, check that the battery contacts are fully seated and that no debris is caught between the cell and the chassis. Heat that persists past cycle three points to a contact or charge IC issue, not the cell itself.
The SM-G750 won't power on after the new battery sat in storage for a few months — is the cell dead?
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and the SM-G750's BMS locks out below approximately 2.5V per cell to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing power — the charge IC will attempt a slow pre-charge recovery cycle to bring the cell above the BMS unlock threshold. Once voltage crosses roughly 2.7V, the BMS re-initialises and the phone will boot normally. If the charge indicator never appears after 45 minutes on the charger, the cell has dropped below recoverable voltage and needs replacement.
