Fits Technika SH-1060 digital cameras; replaces OEM battery CS-NP60FU.
3.7V, 1050mAh lithium-ion cell powers imaging sensor, flash, and LCD display.
Connector slides vertically into camera battery slot with positive terminal forward.
We bench-tested this cell in the SH-1060 body; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without authentication delay.
On first use, run one full charge cycle inside the camera body before heavy shooting — the Technika BMS requires an internal charge cycle to map battery-remaining display accurately to this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Technika SH-1060 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1050mAh lithium-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Technika SH-1060 digital camera. It powers the imaging sensor, LCD display, and flash circuitry through the same voltage rail as the factory cell. Dimensions are 53.20 × 35.30 × 7.10mm — same form factor as the OEM unit.

  • SH-1060 camera fit: The SH-1060 uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion pack with a compact slab profile. This cell matches that voltage rail and physical footprint, so it seats in the battery compartment without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on camera-class load profiles. The BMS held stable voltage delivery through flash recharge events and sustained LCD-on playback without tripping the low-voltage cutoff prematurely.
  • First charge in the camera body: On first install, run a full charge cycle through the camera body or OEM charger before shooting. Some compact camera BMS systems need one complete internal charge cycle before the battery-remaining indicator calibrates correctly to the new cell's discharge curve.

Flash not fully recycling between shots on a new cell

The SH-1060's flash capacitor pulls a short high-current burst each time it recharges between shots. If the replacement cell has not completed its first full charge cycle, its internal resistance sits slightly higher than a conditioned cell — enough to slow capacitor recharge. The result is a longer wait between flash-ready confirmations or a dimmer burst on rapid-fire shots. One full charge cycle from the camera body drops internal resistance into normal range and restores full flash recycling speed.

Battery percentage jumping erratically on the SH-1060 display

The SH-1060's fuel gauge maps voltage thresholds to percentage segments calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. A new replacement cell can discharge along a slightly different curve, causing the indicator to skip segments — jumping from 80% to 40% without warning. This is a calibration mismatch, not a cell fault. Run two or three full charge-discharge cycles and the camera's gauge logic will track the new cell's curve more accurately, reducing the jumps.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SH-1060 shows a dead battery icon right after I put in the new cell — is it faulty?

It is almost always the camera's BMS authentication check, not a faulty cell. The SH-1060 can reject an unrecognised cell on the first insert if the battery has not been pre-charged. Place the cell in the camera body or OEM charger and run it to a full charge before inserting it for use — one complete charge cycle is usually enough for the camera to accept and read the new cell correctly.

The shot count on my SH-1060 is much lower than I expected from a 1050mAh cell — why?

Flash recharge, continuous autofocus, and LCD-on time all add significant draw beyond what a basic shot-count estimate assumes. Cold ambient temperatures also raise internal resistance temporarily, reducing usable capacity per charge. If shooting with flash on every frame, expect noticeably fewer shots than the rated capacity suggests. Turn off optical zoom stabilisation when shooting stationary subjects to reduce background current draw and extend shots per charge.

The SH-1060 battery percentage dropped from around 60% to nearly empty within a few shots — what caused that?

A sharp voltage drop mid-session usually means the cell's discharge curve hit a steep drop-off point that the camera's threshold map was not expecting. This is common on the first few cycles with a new cell. Run the battery down fully until the camera shuts off, then charge back to 100% through the camera body — repeat this two to three times. After conditioning, the gauge reads the cell's actual curve and the sudden drop should not reoccur.
