Fits LifeTec LT41856 digital cameras, replacing OEM battery SKU CS-NP60FU.
3.7V, 1050mAh capacity delivers consistent power for extended photo and video shooting.
Compact form factor seats flush in camera battery slot with standard contact alignment.
Bench testing showed stable voltage curve across discharge cycle with clean BMS handshake.
On first install in the LT41856 body, run one full charge cycle through the camera before heavy shooting — the camera BMS requires this handshake to display accurate battery percentage.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LifeTec LT41856 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1050mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the LifeTec LT41856 digital camera. It slots into the same battery compartment and connects via the original contacts. Voltage and capacity match the factory spec: 3.7V, 1050mAh (3.89Wh).

  • LT41856 compatibility: The LT41856 draws through a standard single-cell Li-ion rail at 3.7V nominal. This cell matches that voltage profile and the physical footprint — 53.20 x 35.30 x 7.10mm — so the compartment door closes without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on bench equipment. The BMS reached full charge without fault flags and held voltage above 3.5V through the bulk of the discharge curve.
  • First charge cycle on the LT41856: Run the first full charge inside the camera body or OEM charger before heavy shooting. Some camera BMS firmware needs one complete charge cycle from within the camera to calibrate the battery-remaining indicator to the new cell's discharge curve.

Dead battery indicator on the LT41856 with a partially charged replacement cell

The LT41856's battery gauge maps voltage thresholds to percentage steps. A new third-party cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the factory cell, so the camera can misread voltage and display empty before the cell is actually flat. This usually resolves after one or two full charge-discharge cycles, which trains the camera's fuel gauge logic. If the indicator still reads dead at a resting voltage above 3.6V, pull the battery, reinsert it, and let the camera re-sample the open-circuit voltage from scratch.

Battery percentage jumping erratically during a shoot

This happens when the camera's voltage-to-percentage lookup table doesn't line up with the new cell's actual discharge curve. The indicator can jump from 60% to 20% in a single burst-shot sequence, then recover slightly at idle. It's a gauge calibration issue, not a faulty cell. Run two full charge cycles — charging to cutoff and shooting until the camera powers down — and the percentage steps will stabilise at the correct voltage thresholds.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LT41856 shows "no battery" or won't power on with this replacement installed — what's happening?

The camera body performs a voltage-presence check on startup; a new cell that hasn't been through a charge cycle inside the camera or OEM charger can read as absent if the resting voltage sits at the low end of the acceptance window. Insert the battery, connect the camera to its charger, and let it run one full charge to 4.2V before powering the camera on cold. That single charge cycle is usually enough for the BMS to register the cell as valid.

Shot count is noticeably lower than what the original battery delivered — is the replacement undersized?

Shot count drops faster than expected when flash recycling, continuous autofocus, or sustained video recording are in use — these loads pull significantly more current than the rated spec shot count assumes. The 1050mAh capacity matches the OEM spec, so the cell isn't undersized. If flash is firing every shot, cap flash use to conserve charge, or check that the in-camera power-saving settings aren't disabled — screen brightness and AF assist beam are the two biggest hidden draws on this class of camera.

The replacement battery drains noticeably faster in cold weather compared to indoors — is the cell faulty?

Li-ion cells lose available capacity when the electrolyte cools below around 10°C — internal resistance rises and the BMS pulls back on discharge current earlier to protect the cell. This is normal Li-ion behaviour, not a fault. Keep the camera body in an inner jacket pocket between shots to hold the cell above 15°C, which keeps internal resistance low and available capacity close to the rated 1050mAh.
