Fits ERA 31101, 32103, and 32104 baby monitor parent units replacing original 3.7V battery packs.
Voltage is 3.7V at 1050mAh capacity — sufficient for full monitoring sessions on the parent handset.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with standard lithium-ion contact orientation and locking tab engagement.
We bench tested this cell on an ERA parent unit — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
After battery swap, re-pair the parent unit with the camera module using the pairing button — wireless link drops when power is completely lost.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ERA 31101 / 32103 / 32104 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1050mAh Li-ion battery for the ERA baby phone parent unit. It fits the 31101, 32103, and 32104 models. At 52 x 32 x 5mm, it matches the original cell's footprint and connector layout.

  • 31101, 32103, and 32104 compatibility: These three ERA parent units share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, connector pin-out, and BMS communication protocol — which is why one cell works across all three. The voltage rail and charge termination logic are identical.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle and monitored BMS cutoff thresholds. Charge acceptance was clean, the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff, and no anomalous heat was recorded during discharge.
  • Re-pairing the parent unit after swap: ERA baby monitors lose their wireless link when the parent unit drops to zero volts. After fitting this battery, power the parent unit on and run the pairing sequence manually before placing it back in the nursery — the camera unit will not reconnect automatically.

Parent unit battery draining faster at night with screen active

Night-time monitoring with the screen on is a sustained draw that compounds over a full overnight session. The LCD backlight, radio receiver, and speaker circuit all pull current simultaneously. A 1050mAh cell at 3.7V gives 3.89Wh — that budget shrinks fast if the screen never sleeps. Enable the screen timeout in the ERA parent unit menu so the display cuts after a set period while audio monitoring stays active.

Night vision cuts out shortly after battery replacement

The infrared LEDs in the camera unit draw more current than the standard video circuit, and the parent unit's radio link also becomes voltage-sensitive under load. If the replacement battery shipped partially discharged, the system may drop below the IR activation threshold within minutes of startup. This is not a fault with the cell — it is a low state-of-charge issue. Charge the parent unit to 4.2V (full charge indicator) before first use and re-test night vision.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ERA parent unit won't connect to the camera after I put in the new battery — what's wrong?

When the parent unit loses power completely, it drops the wireless pairing stored in memory. The camera unit does not re-establish the link automatically. Power on the parent unit, then run the manual pairing sequence from the ERA setup menu — hold the pairing button on the camera unit until the parent unit confirms the link. Once paired, the connection holds through normal power cycles.

The range on the ERA parent unit seems much shorter since I swapped the battery — is the new cell faulty?

Reduced range after a battery swap almost always means the new cell shipped at a low state of charge. The radio transmitter in the ERA parent unit is voltage-sensitive — at partial charge, it cannot sustain full output power. Charge the parent unit fully before judging range. If range is still reduced after a complete charge cycle to 4.2V, check that no obstructions have been added between the parent unit and camera unit.

The ERA parent unit screen comes on but the audio cuts in and out — what's causing it?

Intermittent audio on a freshly swapped battery usually points to a marginal connection between the cell and the PCB contacts, or a cell that shipped deeply discharged. A deeply discharged Li-ion cell can hold enough voltage to power the LCD while dropping too low under the audio amplifier's current draw. Remove the battery, clean the contact pads with a dry cloth, reseat the cell firmly, and charge fully to 4.2V before powering on.
