Charging errors on a fresh pack are almost always a contact resistance issue, not a BMS fault. The DT-X30 cradle uses spring-loaded dock contacts that oxidise with repeated insertions. Oxidisation raises resistance enough that the cradle reports a fault before current even flows. Remove the pack, wipe the gold contacts on both the battery and the cradle with a dry cloth, reseat firmly, and check that all four contact pins are making full engagement.

The DT-X30 pulls current from two sources simultaneously during rapid scanning — the wireless radio polling the host and the laser or imager firing on each trigger pull. When a degraded or partially charged battery can't sustain both loads, voltage sags briefly and the radio stack drops its connection. This is not a Wi-Fi signal issue — it's a combined inrush problem. Charge the pack fully before use and check cell voltage under load; a healthy cell should hold above 6.8V during a burst cycle.
