This 3.7V 2000mAh Li-ion battery fits the Pantone 7525C, 7527C, S86T, and S750 handheld barcode scanners. It replaces the original cell in retail, warehouse, and inventory scanning applications where the stock battery has degraded or failed. Dimensions are 56.76 × 36.50 × 18.30mm — confirm against your existing pack before installing.

• 7525C, 7527C, S86T, S750 fit group: These four models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V nominal voltage rail, and connector orientation, which is why a single cell covers all four. The BMS handshake protocol is consistent across the series.

Charging docks on the 7525C series read pack state through spring-loaded contact pins. If those pins encounter oxidation or debris on the battery contact pads, the dock logs a fault before the charge cycle begins. This is not a fault with the cell itself — it is a contact resistance issue at the interface. Wipe the gold contact pads on the battery with a dry cloth, reseat the pack firmly in the cradle, and the charge indicator should switch to active within 30 seconds.

During a rapid scan burst, the imager draw and the wireless radio transmit pulse fire at near the same moment. On a depleted or degraded cell, this combined inrush causes a momentary voltage sag that drops below the radio module's minimum operating threshold, resetting the wireless link. The scanner stays powered but drops off the network until the radio re-initialises. Keep the pack above 20% charge during high-frequency scanning shifts — below that level, sag under dual load becomes large enough to trigger the drop consistently.
