Fits Teklogix 7535, 7535LX, and 7530 G2 scanners; replaces OEM part numbers 1080141, 1030070, and CV3000.
Supplies 7.4V at 1950mAh, matching the original power envelope for barcode capture and wireless data transmission without throttling.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a vertical orientation; locking tab seats flush against the scanner housing.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted the cradle charge without fault codes; voltage ramp was clean across the first full cycle.
Place the scanner in its cradle for a full charge before using in pick-and-pack operations—the scan trigger draws peak inrush current when the cell is near minimum and a pre-charged cell prevents false BMS cutoffs on the first shift.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Teklogix 7535 / 7530 G2 Series — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1080141)

This is a 7.4V 1950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Teklogix 7535, 7535LX, and 7530 G2 handheld barcode scanners. These mobile data collection terminals are used in warehouse pick-and-pack, retail inventory, and logistics environments where the scanner runs near-continuously across full shifts. OEM part numbers covered: 1080141, 1030070, and CV3000.

  • 7535, 7535LX, and 7530 G2 compatibility: These three models share the same battery bay dimensions, 7.4V voltage rail, and BMS handshake protocol. One pack fits all three without any mechanical or firmware difference.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through scan-burst cycles on the 7535 platform. The BMS held steady through repeated trigger pulls and active wireless polling without tripping on inrush current.
  • First-shift cradle charge: After installing this pack, seat the scanner in its charging cradle and run a full charge cycle before the first shift. Scan trigger inrush is highest when the cell is near minimum voltage, and a fully charged cell prevents false BMS cutoffs during the first heavy-use session.

Cradle showing charging error on a new pack

A charging error on a freshly installed pack almost always comes down to contact resistance at the dock interface rather than a fault with the cell itself. Oxidation or debris on the battery's gold contacts blocks the handshake signal between the pack and the cradle's charge controller. Wipe the pack contacts and the cradle contacts with a dry lint-free cloth, then reseat the scanner firmly until it clicks. If the error clears, the pack is charging normally — the cradle expects a clean contact reading below 0.5Ω to initialise the charge cycle.

Scanner losing wireless connection during rapid scan bursts

During a fast scan burst, the imager and the wireless radio draw current simultaneously. If the cell voltage sags below the radio module's minimum threshold — typically around 6.8V on the 7535 platform — the wireless link drops before the BMS trips. This looks like a connectivity fault but it is a combined load problem. A cell with capacity fade cannot sustain both draws at once. Swap in a fresh pack and confirm the terminal holds its wireless association through a 30-second continuous scan sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 7535 scanner stopped reading barcodes right after I put the new battery in — is something wrong with the pack?

The imager needs a minimum voltage to fire at full power, and a new pack shipped in storage state may sit below that threshold. Seat the scanner in its cradle and charge fully before attempting to scan — do not pull the trigger off the charger. Once the cell reaches 8.0V or above, the imager fires at rated intensity and reads normally.

My 7535 feels warm after a few hours of continuous scanning — is that normal?

Sustained scan-plus-wireless draw in a sealed plastic housing generates heat, and some warmth is expected. The pack becomes a concern if surface temperature exceeds roughly 45°C to the touch. If it does, check that the battery bay vents are clear of label debris — blocked airflow in the grip concentrates heat directly against the cell and accelerates capacity loss over subsequent shifts.

The new battery is not lasting as long per shift as the old one did when it was new — what is causing that?

Scan burst frequency and wireless polling interval both contribute to how quickly the cell discharges, and a heavily used 7535 in a busy pick zone draws more than one in a slower retail environment. First, confirm the wireless polling interval in the terminal settings is not set to maximum — reducing it cuts idle radio draw noticeably. If endurance is still short, check that the cradle completes a full charge cycle each time; a partial charge cycle every shift compounds quickly and the cell never reaches its rated 1950mAh delivery.
