Fits ITT PC3310, PC3320, and PC3330 cordless handsets; replaces OEM battery CS-P502CL.
3.6V and 1200mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers the rated capacity needed for full talk time on these handsets.
Connector slides onto the battery contacts inside the handset battery compartment with a single locking tab.
We cycled this pack through five charge-discharge runs on a standard cordless phone charger; BMS voltage held steady at 3.6V under load.
Place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cells in cordless phones need a slow conditioning cycle to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ITT PC3310 / PC3320 / PC3330 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 3.6V, 1200mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery for the ITT PC3310, PC3320, and PC3330 cordless phone handsets. It replaces the original handset battery when the existing cell no longer holds a useful charge. Dimensions are 50.43 × 42.54 × 14.40mm — measure your existing pack before ordering if you are unsure.

  • PC3310, PC3320, PC3330 compatibility: These three ITT handsets share the same battery bay dimensions, connector orientation, and nominal 3.6V supply rail, which is why a single cell fits all three. The base charging circuit in each model expects the same charge acceptance curve from a Ni-MH pack.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a Ni-MH compatible test rig to confirm the cell accepts a trickle charge without tripping the base unit's error state, and that voltage holds above 3.4V under handset RF transmit load.
  • First charge on ITT DECT handsets: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. Ni-MH cells shipped in storage-state charge up unevenly on a fast cycle — the slow first charge lets each cell in the pack reach balanced capacity.

Why ITT PC3310 handsets show reduced range after a battery swap

DECT transmitters in handsets like the PC3310 draw a burst of current during each RF pulse. If the replacement Ni-MH pack hasn't been through two or three full conditioning cycles, its internal resistance is still high. That resistance causes voltage to sag during each transmit burst, which the handset's RF circuit reads as low power — it reduces transmit strength to compensate. After three to five full charge and discharge cycles, internal resistance drops and voltage sag narrows, restoring normal transmit behaviour.

Base station shows no charge light on a freshly installed Ni-MH pack

ITT base units detect a new battery by measuring resting voltage before starting the charge cycle. A Ni-MH cell that has sat in storage can drop to 3.0V or below, which falls outside the base unit's acceptance window — the charger stays off and no light triggers. To recover, apply a brief external charge using a standalone Ni-MH charger until the pack reads at least 3.3V, then seat the handset in the base. The base unit should recognise the pack and begin the standard charge cycle from that point.

Frequently Asked Questions

Talk time on my PC3310 is much shorter than I expected — is the new battery faulty?

It's almost certainly not faulty — Ni-MH cells need three to five full charge and discharge cycles before they reach rated capacity. On the first cycle, you may see noticeably shorter talk time than the 1200mAh rating suggests. Run the handset until it prompts a low battery warning, then return it to the base for a full charge, and repeat this three times. Talk time should increase with each cycle.

My PC3310 handset stopped pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I fix this?

Some DECT handsets lose their pairing data when power is fully removed, because the pairing record is held in volatile memory backed by the battery. Removing the old cell wipes that memory. Re-register the handset using the base unit's paging or registration button — on most ITT DECT models this means holding the register button on the base for three seconds, then confirming on the handset within 60 seconds.

The handset battery drains completely overnight even though it's sitting in the base — what's wrong?

Check that the handset is fully seated — a partial connection means the base charging contacts don't engage, and the handset continues drawing standby current from the battery with no charge coming in. Clean the metal charge contacts on both the handset and the base cradle with a dry cloth, press the handset firmly into the base, and confirm the charge indicator light activates. If the light still doesn't come on, check the base unit is receiving mains power at the wall socket.
