Fits Dialon F10 cordless phone handsets; replaces MBO original 3.6V Ni-MH packs in this model line.
3.6V, 320mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers rated talk time on a full charge cycle from the base station.
Connector is a two-pin slide contact; insert battery into handset compartment with contacts facing the spring terminals.
We bench-tested this cell in a Dialon F10 base unit — BMS accepted voltage on first seat, no fault codes.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cordless phone batteries require a slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MBO Dialon F10 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 3.6V, 320mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery for the MBO Dialon F10 cordless phone handset. It restores wireless operation when the original cell no longer holds a charge. Dimensions are 30.00 x 32.00 x 10.50mm — confirm these against your existing pack before ordering.

  • Dialon F10 handset fit: The Dialon F10 uses a low-capacity single-cell NiMH pack on a 3.6V rail. This replacement matches that voltage and physical footprint, so the handset closes correctly and makes contact with the charging pins.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a NiMH-compatible charger and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell and delivered stable voltage through the handset's standby and talk states.
  • First-charge requirement for NiMH cordless packs: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. NiMH cells ship partially discharged — skipping this slow initial charge means the cell never reaches rated capacity and talk time will disappoint from day one.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

NiMH cells need three to five full charge-discharge cycles before they hit rated capacity. A new pack straight out of packaging will underperform the original for the first few days — this is chemistry, not a fault. Each full cycle lets the cell's crystalline structure settle and increases usable capacity. Run three complete cycles through the base station before drawing any conclusions about talk time.

Base station showing no charge light after new pack installed

NiMH packs sitting in storage drop below the voltage threshold some base stations require before they begin a charge cycle. If the base shows no light or an error state, the handset may need a brief top-up from an external NiMH charger first — just enough to bring the cell above 3.2V. Once above that threshold, reseat the handset in the base and the charge circuit should recognise it and begin normally. Check the base pins are clean and making firm contact with the handset terminals.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Dialon F10 handset isn't pairing with the base after swapping the battery — what happened?

Removing the battery from a DECT handset cuts all power to the memory that stores the base station pairing. The handset loses its link and needs to re-register. Place the handset on the base, then run the pairing or registration sequence described in the Dialon F10 manual — on most DECT phones this means holding the Find/Page button on the base for several seconds until the handset detects it.

The handset range dropped after I put in the new battery — it cuts out halfway across the room now.

Range drops when transmit power sags under RF load, and that happens when a NiMH cell hasn't been fully conditioned. A partially charged or unconditioned pack can't sustain the voltage the handset needs during the burst transmission of a DECT call. Run two or three full 16-hour charges through the base first. If range is still short after three cycles, check the battery contacts in the handset for corrosion — a resistive connection causes the same voltage sag under load.

The battery drains completely overnight even though the handset is sitting in the base — why?

If the handset isn't fully seated, the charging pins don't make contact and the handset runs on battery in standby all night. Lift the handset out, check that both the handset terminals and base pins are free of dust or oxidation, then reseat it firmly — you should feel it click or settle into the cradle. If the base charge light comes on after reseating, the cell was drawing standby current against an open circuit. Leave it on a full 16-hour charge before use.
