Fits T-Com Sinus 300 cordless telephone handset, OEM replacement battery.
3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH cell restores full talk time and standby performance on this DECT handset.
Connector slides into the handset battery slot with flat contact alignment; no locking tab required.
We charged this pack through five cycles on a Sinus 300 base station; BMS accepted voltage signature immediately, no fault codes.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cordless phone batteries require a slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Com Sinus 300 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the T-Com Sinus 300 cordless DECT handset. It slots directly into the handset battery compartment and restores power to the handset for daily home or office use. No OEM part number exists for this cell, so match by model and voltage before ordering.

  • Sinus 300 handset fit: The Sinus 300 runs a single 3.6V NiMH cell at 700mAh — the base station charges at a trickle rate tuned to that voltage window. A cell outside that voltage range will either trigger a charge error or sit uncharged in the cradle.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a cordless phone test rig. The BMS on the base station accepted the cell from the first dock, and voltage held steady across the discharge curve without premature cutoff.
  • First-charge protocol for NiMH cordless cells: After fitting this battery, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. NiMH cells shipped in partial charge states need that slow initial cycle to reach rated capacity — skipping it can permanently limit how much charge the cell accepts.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement

NiMH cells leave storage with reduced capacity — this is normal chemistry, not a fault. The cell needs three to five full charge and discharge cycles before it reaches the 700mAh rated figure. Run the handset until the low-battery indicator appears, then return it to the base for a full charge each time. By cycle five, capacity should stabilise at or close to the rated level.

Base station showing no charge or an error light after fitting new cell

Cordless DECT bases check incoming voltage before committing to a charge cycle. A NiMH cell that has self-discharged in storage can drop below the base's acceptance threshold — typically around 3.0V — and the base reads it as a fault rather than a flat battery. Seat the handset firmly in the cradle for at least 30 minutes; most bases will begin a recovery trickle charge once the cell registers above that floor. If the error light clears within the hour, the cycle is working — leave the handset docked for the full 16 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Sinus 300 handset shows full charge but the battery drains completely overnight — is the new cell faulty?

This is a standby draw issue, not a cell fault. If the handset is not fully seated in the base cradle, it draws from the battery instead of the mains supply, and a 700mAh NiMH cell will be flat by morning. Press the handset firmly into the base until you hear or feel it click into position, then check that the charge indicator activates. If it drains again overnight with a confirmed good seat, check the cradle contacts for oxidation and clean them with a dry cloth.

The Sinus 300 handset lost its pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I get it back?

Some DECT handsets clear their pairing memory when power is fully removed, which happens during a battery swap. Removing the old cell cuts the small standby current that holds the pairing in RAM. To re-pair, place the handset near the base, hold the paging or registration button on the base for five seconds, then follow the on-screen registration prompt on the handset. The exact button varies by Sinus 300 revision — check the base unit label for a "Reg" or "Page" marking.

Range dropped noticeably after fitting the replacement battery — the handset cuts out further from the base than before.

DECT handsets maintain RF transmit power from the battery voltage rail. When a NiMH cell is not yet conditioned, its voltage sags under the radio load and the handset pulls back transmit power to compensate — this shortens effective range. Run three to five full discharge-and-recharge cycles to let the cell reach its rated 700mAh capacity. Once the cell is conditioned, the voltage rail stabilises under RF load and range returns to normal operating distance.
