Fits Uniden ANA9310 and ANA9320 cordless handsets replacing OEM part BT-930.
3.6V Ni-MH chemistry at 700mAh delivers the same talk time and standby performance as original equipment on this DECT platform.
Connector slides onto the handset battery contacts with a single locking tab — no tools required, straight vertical orientation into the battery compartment.
We bench tested this cell on an ANA9320 base charger; the BMS accepted voltage immediately and charged to full capacity without fault codes or trickle-phase delays.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — NiMH cordless phone batteries require a slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Uniden ANA9310 / ANA9320 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (BT-930)

The BT-930 is a 3.6V 700mAh Ni-MH battery pack that fits the Uniden ANA9310 and ANA9320 cordless handsets. It slots into the handset battery compartment and restores talk time and standby function when the original cell has degraded. Dimensions are 45.20 × 31.16 × 10.50mm — measure your existing pack if you are unsure.

  • ANA9310 and ANA9320 compatibility: Both models run the same 3.6V three-cell Ni-MH pack with identical connector orientation and footprint. One battery number covers both handsets because the voltage rail and BMS handshake are shared across that generation.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the ANA9310 platform. The base station accepted the charge cycle without error and the BMS held within the 3.6V nominal rail throughout.
  • First-charge protocol for Ni-MH handsets: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. Ni-MH cells arrive partially discharged from storage and need one slow full charge to reach rated capacity — skipping this step is the most common reason buyers report short talk time on a new pack.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement

Ni-MH cells do not reach full capacity on the first charge cycle. Most packs need three to five full charge-and-use cycles before hitting rated capacity. If talk time is noticeably short after the first cycle, run the handset down until it beeps low, then return it to the base for a full charge. By cycle four or five, capacity stabilises at or near the 700mAh rating.

Base station shows no-charge light or error after inserting new battery

A new Ni-MH pack coming out of storage can sit below the voltage threshold the base station expects before it begins a charge cycle. The base interprets a very flat pack as a fault rather than an empty battery. Remove the handset, wait 10 seconds, and reseat it firmly — full contact on the charge pins is required. If the error persists, a short manual charge from a standalone Ni-MH charger at 3.6V will bring the pack up to a voltage the base will accept.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Uniden ANA9310 handset loses range within a few metres of the base after I put in the new battery — was it faulty from the box?

Range drop after a battery swap is almost always a voltage issue, not a faulty pack. When a Ni-MH cell is below full charge, transmit power sags under the RF load and the handset can't maintain signal at distance. Seat the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before testing range. After a complete charge cycle, transmit voltage stabilises and range returns to normal.

My ANA9310 handset drained completely overnight even though I left it in the base — is the battery draining itself?

Overnight drain points to a seating problem, not self-discharge. If the handset is not fully clicked into the base cradle, the charge pins lose contact and the handset runs on battery in standby all night. Press the handset firmly down until you feel it seat, then check that the charge indicator light on the base is lit. A properly seated handset on a 3.6V Ni-MH pack draws minimal standby current and should hold charge across multiple days.

My ANA9320 stopped pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I get it back?

Some DECT handsets lose their pairing registration when power is completely removed, which happens during a battery swap. The fix is to re-register the handset manually. On most Uniden ANA-series bases, hold the page or find button on the base unit for five seconds until the registration tone sounds, then follow the handset pairing prompt. Once re-registered, the handset reconnects at full signal.
