DECT transmit power draws a short current spike every time the handset communicates with the base. A Ni-MH pack that has not been fully conditioned shows higher internal resistance, which causes voltage to sag under that RF load. Run three to five full charge-and-use cycles through the base station, and internal resistance drops to normal; the voltage sag during transmit should stabilise above 3.2V at that point.
