Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens Gigaset 3000 / 3010 / 3015 Micro — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (T347)
This is a 3.6V, 500mAh Ni-MH battery pack for the Siemens Gigaset 3000 Micro, 3010 Micro, and 3015 Micro cordless handsets. It replaces OEM part numbers T347, NS3109, 3QNF3550, and V30145-K1310-X143. When the original cell degrades and talk time collapses, this pack restores the handset to normal operation.
- Gigaset 3000 / 3010 / 3015 Micro compatibility: These three handsets share the same battery bay geometry, connector orientation, and 3.6V NiMH charging circuit. The base station charges through the same contact pins across all three variants, so one pack covers the whole range without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through the Gigaset base station charging circuit and confirmed the BMS accepted charge without triggering an error light. Cell voltage at full charge measured within the expected 4.3–4.5V range for a three-cell NiMH pack.
- First-charge protocol for NiMH handsets: After fitting this pack, seat the handset in the base cradle for a full 16 hours before using it. NiMH cells shipped in storage state need a slow, uninterrupted first charge to reach rated capacity — cutting this short leaves you with a fraction of the 500mAh the pack is rated for.
Why range drops on the Gigaset Micro after a battery swap
DECT transmit power on the Gigaset 3000 series is drawn directly from the battery rail. When a NiMH pack is partially conditioned or has shallow-cycled into capacity fade, its voltage sags under the RF transmit burst — typically dropping below 3.3V mid-call. The handset's transmitter reduces output power under that threshold, which shrinks the usable range even if the battery indicator still shows charge. Running three full charge-discharge cycles through the base station after fitting a new pack brings the cells to full electrochemical capacity and stabilises the voltage rail under RF load.
Base station shows no charge or error light after fitting new pack
NiMH packs can leave the warehouse at a low resting voltage — sometimes below 3.0V — after extended storage. Some Gigaset base stations read that voltage as a fault condition and refuse to initiate a charge cycle. Remove the handset, leave it off the base for 30 seconds, then reseat it firmly so both charging contacts are flush. If the error light persists, check the contact pins on the handset for dirt or oxidation and clean them with a dry cloth — the base expects a minimum contact resistance to begin the charge handshake.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Gigaset 3000 Micro talk time is still short after fitting the new battery — did I get a bad pack?
Almost certainly not — this is normal NiMH behaviour for the first three to five cycles. NiMH cells ship in a partially discharged state, and a single charge does not bring them to full rated capacity. Run the handset through three complete charge-discharge cycles using the base station, and talk time will increase noticeably with each one. By cycle five, the pack should be delivering close to the rated 500mAh.
The handset lost its pairing with the base after I replaced the battery — how do I get it back?
Fully removing a battery from a DECT handset clears the volatile memory that holds the pairing registration on some Gigaset models. Place the handset on the base, then use the base station's registration button to re-register the handset — on the Gigaset 3000 series, hold the registration button on the base unit until the handset confirms pairing. Check your handset manual for the exact button sequence, as it varies between the 3000, 3010, and 3015 variants.
The battery drains completely overnight even when the handset is sitting in the base — what's causing it?
This is a seating issue, not a battery fault. The Gigaset base cradle only charges when both contact pins make a solid connection — if the handset is slightly misaligned, standby draw from the handset circuitry pulls the pack flat with no charge current to offset it. Lift the handset out, check the charging pins on both the handset and cradle for debris, reseat the handset firmly, and confirm the charge indicator light activates. If the light does not come on within 30 seconds of seating, the contact isn't being made.
