Yealink W56H — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (YL-5J / W56-BATT)

This 3.7V 1300mAh (4.81Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Yealink W56H cordless DECT handset. It also fits the W56P base-station handset, W56h/p, and the One Talk IP DECT system. The cell dimensions are 59.80 × 38.00 × 5.60mm — measure your existing pack before ordering if you are unsure.

• W56H and W56P handset fitment: These handsets share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — one battery covers the full W56 family. The 3.7V nominal rail matches the handset's RF transmit circuitry and standby regulator.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a W56H handset and confirmed the BMS accepted charge from the base station cradle without triggering a charge fault. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold during discharge testing.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after fitting this pack

A new Li-ion cell ships at roughly 40–60% state of charge after storage. The handset's fuel gauge or charge IC may not have a full charge baseline on the first cycle, so the first few sessions can feel shorter than expected. Run two to three full charge-and-use cycles — charge to 100% in the base, use until the low-battery indicator appears, then recharge fully. By cycle three, the pack should be delivering close to its rated 1300mAh capacity.

Handset loses DECT pairing after battery replacement

Removing the battery from a W56H handset cuts power completely, which can wipe the pairing data stored in volatile memory on some firmware versions. When you power the handset back on, it may show "searching" or fail to register with the W56P base. To re-pair, press and hold the paging button on the base for three seconds until the base LED flashes, then navigate to the handset menu under Settings → Registration → Register Handset and follow the on-screen prompts. The base PIN defaults to 0000.
