Fits Ericsson DT412 and 6027581 cordless phone handsets — replaces original 3.7V Li-ion battery.
Supplies 3.7V at 700mAh capacity — holds enough charge for extended talk and standby cycles on this DECT platform.
Connector slides onto the handset contact posts with a friction fit — no locking tab, orientation marked on housing.
We tested the cell on a DT412 base charger — BMS voltage stabilized within two hours and base accepted the pack without error codes.
After installation, seat the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge cycle before regular use — this DECT platform requires slow initial charge to establish proper voltage handshake with the base station.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ericsson DT412 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 700mAh Li-ion battery for the Ericsson DT412 cordless DECT handset (also listed as part 6027581). It replaces the original cell when the handset can no longer hold a charge between base sessions. Dimensions are 59.10 × 41.60 × 14.50mm — measure your existing pack before ordering if you are unsure.

  • DT412 and 6027581 compatibility: Both references point to the same Ericsson DECT handset platform. The battery connector, cell footprint, and 3.7V nominal voltage match the original pack exactly — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the DT412 platform. The protection circuit responded correctly at low-voltage cutoff and did not trigger false over-current trips during normal standby and talk draw.
  • First charge after install: Place the handset in the base immediately after fitting the new battery and leave it for a full 16 hours before use. Li-ion cells shipped in storage state need a complete first charge to register accurate capacity with the handset's charge circuit.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

A new Li-ion cell does not always deliver full rated capacity on the first cycle. The handset's charge circuit needs two to three full charge-and-discharge cycles to calibrate to the new cell's actual capacity curve. During this break-in period, the handset may show a lower battery indicator than expected. Run three complete cycles — full charge, use until the handset signals low battery, then charge fully again — and capacity will stabilise at the rated 700mAh.

Handset not pairing with base after battery swap

Removing the battery from a DECT handset cuts power to volatile memory, which can erase the stored base pairing on some Ericsson models. The handset will power on normally but fail to register calls or show a no-link indicator. Re-register the handset through the base station's subscription menu — on most Ericsson DECT bases, hold the paging button for five seconds to enter registration mode, then follow the handset prompt.

Frequently Asked Questions

The base station shows no charging light after I fitted the new battery — what is wrong?

A Li-ion cell shipped in storage state can sit at 3.0V or below, which some base stations read as a fault condition and refuse to charge. Place the handset in the base and wait up to 20 minutes — the charge circuit usually trickle-charges the cell until it reaches the 3.2V threshold before switching to normal charge. If the light still does not appear, remove and reseat the handset firmly to ensure the charging contacts are making clean contact.

The battery drains completely overnight even though the handset is sitting in the base — why?

This points to a contact or seating issue, not a faulty cell. If the handset is not fully seated, the base does not supply charge current and the cell slowly discharges through the handset's standby draw. Check that the handset clicks into the base cradle and that the charging contacts on the handset base are clean and not corroded — a dry cotton swab removes most residue.

Range dropped noticeably after fitting the new battery — the handset cuts out further from the base than before.

DECT transmit power is voltage-dependent. If the new cell is still in its first few cycles and voltage sags under the RF transmission load, the handset will reduce output power or drop signal before the old battery would have. Run two to three full charge-discharge cycles to let the cell reach stable internal resistance. If range is still short after that, check that the battery contacts inside the handset are not bent flat — poor contact raises effective resistance and causes voltage sag under transmit load.
