Fits Cattron Theimeg Easy u. Mini crane remote (OEM part BT923-00075, BT923-00044, BT081-00061, BT081-00053, BT92300075).
12V, 2500mAh Ni-MH pack delivers full solenoid pull-in current without voltage sag during hoist commands.
Connector seats into the battery bay with positive terminal facing the spring contact; locking tab engages on the side rail.
We bench-tested this cell on the Theimeg charger platform — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion and held stable voltage under repeated solenoid activation cycles.
If the remote shows low battery immediately after installation, the cell arrived at storage voltage — connect to charger for 20 minutes before field deployment.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Cattron Theimeg Easy u. Mini / TH-EC Series — 12V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (BT923-00075)

This is a 12V, 2500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for Cattron Theimeg wireless crane remote controls. It fits the Easy u. Mini, TH-EC 30 u. 40, TH-EC/LO, and Easy series remotes. Cross-references include BT923-00044, BT081-00061, and BT081-00053.

  • Multi-model fit across TH-EC and Easy platforms: These remotes share the same 12V power rail, physical housing dimensions, and connector orientation. The BMS handshake protocol is consistent across TH-EC 30, TH-EC 40, TH-EC/LO, and both Easy variants, so a single cell pack covers all listed units.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on TH-EC series hardware. The BMS held charge voltage at 14.4V peak, and the cell pack delivered consistent output under simulated solenoid activation loads without triggering low-voltage cutoff.
  • Monthly charge cycle for infrequent use: Crane remotes often sit unused for weeks between jobs. Ni-MH cells left uncharged below 10.5V for extended periods suffer accelerated capacity loss from self-discharge. Connect the charger for a full cycle once a month during idle periods to keep cell voltage above the recovery threshold.

Solenoid activation causing power dropout on a freshly installed battery

When a crane remote triggers a solenoid or contactor relay, the inrush current spike can exceed 3–5A for a brief window. A cell pack at storage voltage — typically around 12.0V — has higher internal resistance than a fully charged pack, which amplifies voltage sag during that spike. The BMS interprets this sag as an undervoltage fault and shuts down the output rail. Charging the pack to full before first use drops internal resistance and keeps the voltage above the BMS cutoff threshold during activation events.

Remote showing low battery immediately after new pack install

Ni-MH cells ship at approximately 40–60% charge — enough to power on, but not enough for the remote's battery indicator to show full. The low-battery warning on Cattron Theimeg remotes triggers below roughly 11.5V under load, and a partially charged new pack can sit right at that edge. This is not a faulty cell — it is a storage state. Run a full charge cycle before first use and verify the resting voltage reads at or above 13.2V before returning the remote to service.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Cattron Theimeg crane remote won't power on after sitting unused for several months — is the battery dead?

Not necessarily dead, but likely in deep-discharge lockout. Ni-MH cells that drop below 10.5V during long idle periods can appear unresponsive because the BMS blocks output to protect the cells. Connect the charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on — this gives the BMS enough input voltage to re-initialise the charge circuit. If the charger indicator moves to active charging, the pack is recovering; a full cycle should restore normal output.

The crane remote cuts out mid-operation when the hoist motor starts — it was fine with the old battery.

Motor-start inrush current on hoist contactors creates a voltage spike that a worn or low-capacity pack cannot absorb cleanly. If the replacement pack was installed at storage charge, internal resistance is elevated and voltage sag during the inrush window can trip the BMS undervoltage cutoff. Charge the new pack fully before putting the remote back into service and confirm resting voltage is at or above 13.2V — that is the threshold where internal resistance drops enough to handle activation loads without dropout.

The E-stop on the remote feels slower to respond than it used to — what causes that?

E-stop response time on Cattron Theimeg remotes is voltage-dependent. The radio transmitter and output relay both draw from the same cell pack, and at lower cell voltage the signal processing and relay activation take marginally longer. This becomes safety-critical on crane applications where milliseconds matter. Charge the battery to full before any lift operation and check that the resting voltage holds above 13.2V — if it drops below 12.0V within minutes of a full charge, the pack has experienced capacity fade and needs replacement.
